Prologue

          When i was thirteen years old, she was forever separated from me. Until then, we were never separated, not even for a second. It was his parents' fault that we got apart. She was the only friend I had. She never treated me wrong like others did. That day was the first time when she talked to me like a stranger and then disappeared forever. 

         I did my best to find her. But nothing worked out and she remained missing for me till now. 

        "Astika! Do you even know what time it is. Get up from your bed and get to the meeting. Or else, you are going to get punished." My mother scolded me as she left the room slamming the door in anger. Just as usual, i got up from bed, got ready and went to the destination. Everyday was like that.

         Since my childhood i had been working for the Archon organisation which worked as assassins. Many children were taken into that as slaves in the beginning. As they grew up, they faced many challenges and tests which if they cleared, will be promoted to a bigger level. No matter what the post was, all they had to do was killing. They could never escape that.One of them was me. My parents loved the organisation more than me. If they loved me more, they would have fought for me to give me a better future and not the one where i have to kill until i die.

         "You're here, finally." Bhanu, one of the members said to me as she saw me entering. I sat on my regular chair. The meeting had started. We were never informed what the meeting was about. One one order, we all were presented there. 

           Usually the meeting was about new assassins, assassinations, new members, new orders, etc. It was never to my interest. I just wanted to go back home and continue my research for my old friend. 

            "Its gonna be boring again." That's what i though but when they turned off the lights and the projector was turned on, i almost lost my consciousness. 

              The order this time was to assassinate Kalki, my dearest old friend.
