~No death, no doom, no anguish can arouse the surpassing despair that flows from a loss of identity ~

She shifted beneath the covers as sunlight gently streamed through the windows, finding comfort in the peaceful slumber. Her life, although unconventional, was a testament to resilience. Valeria Potter, the enigmatic resident of number 4 Privet Drive, Little Whinging, Surrey, was not considered a conventional member of the Dursley family. They perceived her as a burden, believing she took undue advantage of their kindness and resources. Consequently, she was entrusted with household responsibilities at an early age - from cooking and cleaning to laundry and dishes - all of which fell under Valeria's purview. Despite this, Valeria's extraordinary nature set her apart, allowing her to navigate these challenges with grace and determination.

Valeria's exceptional intelligence was a beacon of light in her otherwise challenging circumstances, a quality that went unnoticed by the Dursleys. She taught herself to read at the age of two, owing to the numerous books that Dudley showed little interest in. Progressing from storybooks to the neglected volumes in the house, Valeria absorbed knowledge like a sponge. When her cousins began school at five, Valeria found solace in the library, spending her breaks immersed in various books. Her insatiable thirst for knowledge led her to explore subjects typically deemed unremarkable. While her peers were starting with storybooks and alphabets, Valeria Potter delved into works on Science, Mathematics, English Literature, and more. As Valeria's intelligence grew, she better understood her life.

Valeria's exceptional memory and intellectual abilities were evident from a young age. She could effortlessly recall any information she read, a skill she later realized was a photographic memory. This, coupled with her speed reading and mental reiteration skills, allowed her to introspect and advance her intellectual capacities, even as a 6-7-year-old.

As time passed, on the day she turned 11, a letter was addressed to her cupboard under the stairs, surprising her. Still, before she could read it, her uncle snatched it from her, who looked at her with anger, fear, and hate and burned the letter. After that, the letters continued to come for days, and due to fear, her family took her to the island in the middle of the sea. Yet, they were not stopped in fact on that day at midnight a giant man was telling her that he was Rubeus Hagrid came to the cottage wished her birthday wishes and stated that magic is real and gave her the letter, which was snatched from her, saying that she is a Witch her parents were too, and he was her first friend.

Valeria was introduced to a different world that should have been part of her life all along, but it was kept a secret by her aunt, who sought normalcy and harbored immense resentment towards her late mother. Valeria was taken aback to learn that everyone in the wizarding world knew who she was except for her. Hagrid explained the reasons behind this, which filled her with anger towards the person who had killed her parents. However, she understood that reacting out of anger wouldn't achieve anything, so she kept her emotions hidden for the time being.

Over time, Valeria formed a connection with Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger, who became her first and closest friends in this new world. Nonetheless, she did not personally align with their forceful, overbearing nature. Her life was frequently at risk with them due to their curiosity and love for adventure, and she often found herself in precarious situations. Although she knew they were acting under someone's influence, she remained unsure of the identity of this person. Despite this, she chose to stay silent.

Valeria also developed genuine relationships and alliances with individuals proficient in magic, although this remained concealed from others. Even though the headmaster, professors, and the entire Wizarding World might perceive her as average, the truth was that she and her associates were powerful wizards and witches excelling in all areas. She felt like a snake in the lion's skin, ready to strike in the shadows while projecting a formidable presence to her adversaries.
