Trapped In My Story

My fault

I walked along the muddy path leading to school. It was 7:30 in the morning, and school doesn't start until 9. But I don't really care when school starts. I just want to leave home as early as possible.

My family don't seem like a family anymore. My dad goes out every night. Apparently he was eating dinner with his mates but I think he was lying. He comes back at ... like what? 1 o' clock every night? My mum thinks that he has a girlfriend and I agree. Secretly I'm on mum's side. I think my mum is innocent, she hasn't done anything wrong, but dad is acting as if she has. Sometimes I just want to punch my dad really hard in the face but of course I didn't.

When I arrived at school, I noticed a red bag sitting near the bench.

"Someone is here early," I thought.

I examined the bag more closely, then I realized that it's my crush's bag. My crush is perfect, the way he walks, the way he talks, even the way he looks when he is angry he is always perfect. We talk sometimes and he has been really friendly towards me. I wondered if he had family problems like me, coming to school this early.

I decided to try and find Ryan. My guess is that he is in the library. I know that it's one of his favourite place in the whole school. Inside the library, he is sitting quietly on a small chair near the fiction sections. I creeped up behind him silently and push him with my tiny palm while roaring like a fierce lion. He shook, alarmed.

"April I don't like it when you scare me like that! Just stay away from me! Ok?" I'm shocked that he screamed at me like that.

"Jeez Ryan, I'm just having a little fun!" I snapped back.

"It's fun for you, but think about other people! Now, just stay away from me!"

With that, he stormed out of the library. Leaving me sobbing quietly on the floor.
