Ch.1 the beginning

Once a long time ago in centuries past in Xadia was one land was once rich in magic and wonders in the times of old there where only the six primal sources of magic.

The sun
The moon
The stars
The earth
The sky
And the ocean.

A thousand years ago, a human mage discovered a new magic. The seventh source dark magic it used the core within all magical creatures themselves. To unleash dark powers. Horrified by what they saw, the elves and dragons put a stop to the madness. They drove all the humans to the west.
And so because of the greed of the humans the land was split in two and the humans and elves and dragons could no longer live together in peace and harmony because of the betrayal of the humans was so great.
And so the continent was divided in two. In the east was xadia. And in the west was the human kingdoms.

For centuries, the king of the dragons himself defended the borders. The humans called him thunder, for when he spoke. His voice shook the sky. But on the eve of last winter's turn. The humans used unspeakable dark magic to slay thunder. Then without mercy they destroyed his egg, his heir. The dragon prince. Now the world stands on the edge of all out war.

Now our story takes place 20 years before the deaths of the dragon king and his heir the dragon prince.

To think this day started out just fine and good day but that completely changed in an instant to a nightmare. That I wish I could wake up from. Now I am having to run for my life through the forest just because I used my magic to save a child from being trampled under a horse and wagon by using my magic to save a kid from being killed.I thought i was being carful not to get caught using magic. I bet you are wondering how I as a human can use magic with out it being dark magic all I know is my mother was human and my dad was an elf but I look more like a human then an elf. I can use primal magic because of this I don't belong with humans but I don't belong with the dragons and elves either so I just try to live a normal human life as possible given that I am half human. So back to me running for my life so I was caught using my magic and now the humans want to kill me. I look behind me and I don't see anything but I know the are close I am huffing with the need for more air for my lungs I am starting to get tired from all this running because I looked back I didn't see the man in front of me in till it was too late he hit me and I fell next thing I know I am being hit I just hope it is a quick death as I close my eyes and wait but it never comes. Next thing I know I am being lifted up and the humans that where beating where dead on the ground and that is when I lost consciousness.

When I woke up I am in a bed with bandages all over me and there is someone standing at the window looking out. Just to be safe I pretended to be a sleep because I did not know who he was or what he wanted? Who is he why did he save me? Only he could tell me. But just as I woke up someone came in and I couldn't hear what was said but I could tell they were arguing about me. Only I did not hear when the other person left. But what I do hear is what he is about to say.
