I got kicked out today. Which is just AWESOME because about an hour after I got kicked out the sirens went off. After 30 seconds of looking around, I saw a Waffle House a block away. I thought it was odd because I could've sworn it wasn't there before. But in a dangerous situation, shelter is shelter. I bolted toward the Waffle House hoping that they would let me in. Luckily I had enough money to buy food for about a month. I walked in and I was greeted by a hostess. I looked at her name tag and it said, "Britney". She led me to an empty booth, and gave me a menu. Britney is also my waitress because she said their short staffed today. I ordered a plain waffle, a cup of orange juice, and a cup of coffee. I love to mix my coffee with orange juice. I wonder if my friends found shelter. As I saw Britney with my food, I waved. She asked me how my day was so I told her my story. I told her I might be here awhile. I looked out the window, it was dark and gloomy even though it was only noon. More people walked in as the hours passed. About 3 people per hour. No one left though.
