Jai, James and Luke slammed the door behind them. "What was that about?" I asked. Daniel looked down at me. "Oh nothing, I think they said they were going to meet up with Jamisyn, Bella and Meg. "Oh" I said, trying to wipe my smug smile off my face. Although I'm happy that we're finally alone, I am so worried because I know I need to tell Daniel how I feel. I can't keep this in for any longer. Daniel sat next to me on the couch. My face flushed red with embarrassment for my feelings.
Daniel and I have been friends for as long as I can remember and now it could all go down the drain because of one thought. One thought of happiness. But, How could you blame me though? all I want is to hold him in my arms and tell him that I love him and I am in love with him! Daniel looked at me and then glanced at my lips. When he noticed I realised what he was doing, he immediately looked down and started fiddling with his palms.
I could tell something was up. "What is it Daniel?" I asked in a confused tone. He replied with a simple "Nothing". I asked again. "What's the matter Daniel, you can tell me anything". He locked eyes with me and lent in towards me. What Daniel has feelings for me? What?! I lent in not wanting to stop what I thought was about to happen.
He quickly dodged me and lent over to get the crumbs of the bbq flavoured shapes. I quickly fixed myself up from my kissing position. Daniel started to laugh so hard. He was so cute when he laughed. I sarcastically laughed hoping he wouldn't know what's up, and what I was just prepared to do. It wasn't enough though. Daniel stopped laughing and locked eyes with me. He seemed confused. "What's the matter beau?" Skip asked. I looked at him in complete nerve and said "Daniel can I tell you something?" "of coarse you can beau, you can ask me anything." He looked down at his thumbs again. Right as I was about to say that I am head over heals for him. He interrupted me and exclaimed "Wait I have to tell you something first." "This is really embarrassing but I don't care if you hate me. Well I would but..Beau Peter Brooks. I think I'm in love with you"...
