The Kiss

(GARU'S POV)

It's been 3 hours since the Blockade army invaded our ship. They keep regenerating like crazy. The more you shoot, the more they grow. But only two people were chosen to take them down; me and Tobe.

We stand against a box in an alley, waiting for the right time to strike. The aliens are all over.

"Whelp.. They weren't kidding about being impossible, Garu." Tobe says, trying to catch his breath, "They just keep coming."

"Mhm."

We stand here for a minute while Tobe catches his breath. I look at the aliens, trying to figure out how I could either distract them, or get rid of them ...wait a minute.

"Ok. I think I'm ready."

"Hm." I nod,

We both jump on the walls of the alleyway, to jump out and over the aliens, I duplicate after jumping out, leaving all the aliens with my clones as me and Tobe run into a hallway. We come across more aliens, on the walls, the floor and the ceiling. We shoot, jump, and crouch to avoid them. Soon we're in the main room, a giant octopus looking alien is on the ceiling. Tobe doesn't notice it but it shoots at him, I run over and grab him, I run to avoid the lasers.

"GARU I THINK I'M HURT!!" Tobe shouts, "IT'S MY LEG."

I nod and run behind a giant box. We both crouch down and I grab the gauze to wrap up his leg.

"Damn that alien fucked me up." Tobe looks as his leg,

"Mhm."

I finish wrapping his leg and we both get up.

"Thanks Garu." Tobe smiles at me. He looks into my eyes and smiles.

I smile back.. I think he is changing for the better..

We both hear squeaking from on top of the box. It's the aliens. We both look up at them. \

"ALIENS!! QUICK!!"

I jump out, over the aliens on the box, I try to shoot, but one of them grabs me by the foot and pulls me in to it's plasma-like body. I try to climb out, but no use.

" GARU GRAB MY HAND!!" Tobe holds his hand out and I grab it, he tries desperately to pull me out, but an alien grabs his foot as well. He looks down and tries to shake it off, it goes up his foot even more and swallows his whole leg. Soon we are both half engulfed by the aliens...

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"SIMULATION HAS STOPPED! PLEASE EXIT THE GAME ROOM!"

Our surroundings then fade, all that's left of our surroundings is just outlines of the walls, and boxes.

"Damn."

We walk out of the laser tag room together. I look around for some other stuff to do.

"That was fun huh?" Tobe looks at me.

I look at him and smile, "Mhm."

We both look around for something else to do. Across from us we both see a huge open window, and the light shining in from outside, overpowering the arcade lights around it. Next to the window is this machine.. gun.. thing, that some guy is shooting paint out of. A paint gun? We walk closer to get a better look.

I look out the window and see the paint being splattered all over the sky. So that's why the sky has splatters on them...

I look over and see Tobe taking control of the gun. A huge smile appears on his face as he repeatedly mashes the trigger buttons, making the paint go everywhere. Not just on the sky, but all over. On the buildings, and the roads. I hear a growl and look at the shadowy liquid figure behind him.
