Chapter

London,
England
"Good
morning, sunshine!"
I groan, "really, Cal?" I hear a chuckle, and stifle another groan.
I try to bury myself in the quilt, but all too soon, it is being ripped from on top of me. Damn Cal and his inhuman strength!
"Get up!" I can almost hear his grin. "up! Up! Up!"
"...is a Disney movie. I know!" I grin into my pillow. "and keep trying.
I am going to sleep more. It's not like I have much to do, anyway. Go away. Shoo! Go catch some murderers..." I mumble.Cal just grunts, "yeah. But then I promised my most favorite girl in the world that I would stop being such a workaholic..."
I chuckle, "who? Your mom?"
he laughs out loud, "if you are my mom, sure!"
I grunt, "ew!"
That just elicits another laugh from him, "whatever! Just get up, lazy. Ben called for you. He asked if you considered what he told you."
he sounded curious.
I bolt upright, "damn! I have to... I have to call him."
I look around, to find a startled looking Cal standing at the end of my
bed, holding a tray. I give a bright smile, and take the tray. He laughs again."but I guess it can wait till after breakfast!" I smile sheepishly. Cal nods and sits down on the bed. I look at him questioningly, but he
just nods at the tray. He wants me to start eating. I just shrug in reply and dig right in, all the while, remembering that I have an audience.Ifinish off the last bits of pancake, and get up. Cal gets up at the same time. I take the tray to the kitchen and pop it into the dishwasher, while Cal follows me like a lost puppy. When I am done, I
turn back, to find Cal looking at me curiously.I sigh defeatedly, "you won't stop following me?"
"Not unless you go to the washroom!" he grins.Ben's number, that I had by-heart since a very long time ago.
Not three rings later, Ben picks up, "Callum! Is Clary ready to speak to me? Or wait... is she still asleep?"
I giggled, "I am awake, Benny... what's the matter?"
"well, well! If it isn't sleeping beauty!" I hear him chuckle, which
automatically makes me roll my eyes."don't roll your eyes at me, Clary!"
I gasp, "twin sense!"
that makes him laugh again.
"so, what's up?"
"huh! Such a hurry! At least tell me a proper hullo, woman!"
"hullo. Now, why did you call?"
I hear him sigh, "your patience astounds me!"
