"A cup of jasmine tea please"
I snapped my fingers, and in an instant, my tea was brought.
Nothing less of my children.
I looked at the ripples after every sip, thoughtfully thinking about my next move. Lately has become incredibly uneventful, I sure hope my children will be satisfied with their current missions.
I got out of my seat and decided to head for the Steambird. I sure hope my dear friend Charlotte has something interesting today, it might almost make me forgive her for her recent eavesdropping. I really hope that reporter learned her lesson; that lady truly possesses some potential.
I got out of my office, and the bright sun radiated on my skin. Around me, I could see fellow Fontainians quiver in fear, knowing of my power and rank. This part always confused me however, why would I ever hurt the citizens of the nation of my birth? I ignored their fearful gazes and strolled over to the Steambird, requesting for a paper.
"S-sure thing ma'am! I hope you enjoy today's news!"
Even the woman at the register was shivering. I admit I never communicated to the common folk often, but can't these people understand I wouldn't attack anyone barbarically? It would certainly defy my elegance and power as a Harbinger.
On looking at the header, it immediately caught my eye. It wasn't by Charlotte, but someone else entirely. The information looked strictly confidential, yet it was posted on The Steambird's newspaper. Was this perhaps leaked information?
As I skimmed through the information, my wariness arose. Missing visions users? Hm... These look to be quite a lot. My worry wasn't for these vision users however, it was for my children who wielded visions. Lyney... Lynette... Freminet... I should warn them if they haven't heard the news. Of course, I would trust their fighting capabilities completely as they are one of my most skilled children, however I knew some of these missing visions users. Most I knew from stolen information, however they always peaked my interested with their pure fighting skill, almost competing with the high rank agents of the Fatui. Just how powerful were these kidnappers?
While skimming through the rest, all was useless. The only thing that interested me was the new cherry tea, something that Sandrone recommended me a few days ago.
I shut the newspaper and clutched in my hands, hoping to gather new intel from this scrap of paper. As I looked over, from far away I could see the nearby café. Lynette was there, eating her usual desserts, having a conversation with Lyney. He then suddenly ran away, flustered. I've never seen Lyney flustered before... Has something happened?
But now wasn't the time to catch up to him, my children were becoming agitated from their recent stale missions, so maybe some intel gathering might satisfy their boredom.
I didn't want to be involved with this recent case, so I was considering in asking the formidable Wriothesley to take of it. Nevertheless, he's probably far too busy with his status of the Warden, and wouldn't trust a Fatui Harbinger anyways. However, if anything happened to my children relating to the incident, there will be consequences.
