Hey guys, it's Wednesday! And you know what that means... 👀

A new chapter 🥳🥳🥳!!

I'm a little behind on writing (I haven't done any since Friday) but I plan on getting back on track tomorrow evening when I get home since the part I'm working on and the one after it are both longer than others 😅 You guys'll be pleased to know that writing is going well and that this chapter is a little longer than previous ones. You can probably also tell what it's about from the title, but I really hope you all enjoy my take on Kévin and Eileen's wedding this week 🤭

"Hey~" I greeted Aryia when I came home from work one evening.

"Momma!" Levi grinned, running towards me before I'd even taken my shoes off at the front door.

"Hey~ What're you still doing up, Little Wolfy." I teased, knowing he was supposed to be in bed an hour before I got home.

"Papi's writing."

"Still?"

I received a nod in response as Levi bit his lip. "C'mon." He said, tugging my hand after I put my bag down as he led me to his dad.

"Are you still writing?" I asked, making my boyfriend jump.

"Jeez Evie, you scared me."

"I can tell." I pointed out, seeing how he'd accidentally drawn a massive line on his sheet of paper. "Are you still not finished?"

"Obviously not." He pointed out as Bluey continued playing in the background.

"Do you need help?"

"I don't know." He sighed, sitting back on the sofa. "I've never had to write a wedding speech before so I don't even know if what I'm saying is alright or not."

"Did you try Google?" I asked.

"Yeah, but it's not helpful."

"In what aspect?"

"It's not meaningful to me and Kévin." He pointed out.

"Fair enough." I shrugged, remembering how my uncle's speech had differed from the truth when my older cousin had got married when I was 22. "But I actually have another question."

"Shoot." he told me, rubbing his forehead from wracking his brain so much for the whole afternoon.

"Why isn't Levi in bed?" I smiled, holding our two-year-old in my arms now.

He tiredly checked his watch. "Shit." He swore. "Sorry, I didn't realize."

"It's fine." I told him. "Do you want me to look over what you've written?"

"If you don't mind."

"Lemme put him to bed and I'll give it a look." I smiled.

"Thanks." He smiled. "And I'm sorry for not putting him to sleep."

"It's okay." I smiled.

After pulling me into the living room and letting me lift him up into my arms, Levi had practically fallen asleep already, so it came as no surprise that he was "in Candyland" already. He'd come up with the phrase, thinking we meant we were dreaming when we'd been discussing the next part of Aryia's movie, but the planning had to be cut short because of how much work we both had going on; nothing we couldn't put in the back burner for later though.
