Only a vampire can love you forever

I dodged every puddle as I approached it, I hated rain so I ran as fast I could. I hadn't closed my coat so my top was soaked through.We hadn't had weather like this before. It's been raining non-stop. I got to my front door and opened it, and slammed it shut. I gave out a sigh of relief. I went up the stairs to change my top, I didn't have any descent ones so I just put on a old blue jumper, it fitted quite well. As I began to walk downstairs, my little sister ran up, and said "its bad luck to go up the stairs the same time as someone else". I just glared at her. She really could be annoying sometimes, but i love her anyway.

I went down the stairs and I saw my mum having a cup of tea. "Hi Megan! Why are you home so early, I thought you were in Faye's?" Mum said.

"I thought id go because it was raining heavily" I said, while boiling the kettle.

"What did you and Faye do today?" Mum asked suspiciously.

"We just watched tv and stuff" I said trying not to give it away I was lying.

What me and Faye were really doing was on patrol (hunting vampires). Yes, weird right? It's not my fault that I'm the slayer. I didn't choose to be likethis! Anyway I think I've said enough.

"Oh, because I phoned Faye's mum and she told me you went out? To the park or something?" Mum said looking at me weirdly.

"Yeah, we went out for a couple of hours. But then we got bored and went to her house, when her mum wasn't in" I said, trying not to make eye-contact with her.

"Oh, I'm going to the shop to buy some groceries, you coming?" Mum said.

"No, I'm going to do my homework, are you bringing Tiffany?" I asked.

" you think I'm going to let you look after her, after what happened last time?" Mum said.

"Point made" I said.

"Okay, bye"

I jumped on the sofa and opened a can of 7up. I heard a knock on the door, I got up and went to answer it. I looked through the peep hole. It was Faye.

"Hey girl!" She said as I opened the door. "You up for some slaying?" She said as she stepped in my house.

"Why? We've just been though?" I said closing the door.

"Do you want me to go on my own?" Faye said.

"Okay" I said as I headed for the door. "Wait I need to write my mum a note, to say I've gone".

"Hurry up then!" Faye said.

"Hi mum, I've gone out with Faye. She wanted to go to the shops. Ill be home soon. :) " I wrote.

"Come on!" Faye shouted from outside.

"I'm coming" I shouted back.

"You got supplies?" I asked.

"Yeah, I got 4 stakes and 2 longbows and.." She got interrupted by a vampire growl.

The vampire was attacking a poor person, who had probably just come to see someone's grave. Faye grabbed the vampires black leather jacket and flew him against a wall. She ran towards him with a stake, and as it hit his chest, he turned into dust.

"That was fun!" She said, wiping the dust off her leggings.

"Not really, that woman is probably scared to death!" I said.

"Hey, look there a necklace, Megan! It has the initials J.O"

"I wonder what that stands for?" I said, looking at the necklace.

"Jesse Owens, nice to meet you" a voice said coming out of the bush.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Jesse Owens, and that's my necklace!" The strange figure said. He had a long black jacket on, long enough to be a cape. He was quite tall, there was something about him that wasn't right.

"I'm Megan" I said, trying to be nice.

"I'm Faye" she said.

"Why are you girls in a cemetery all alone at night?" Jesse asked.

"Well... Hmm... Well.." I said.

"Your the slayers aren't you?" Jesse said.

"How do you know?" Faye asked.

"Lucky guess" he said.

"Are you a.. Vampire?" I asked.
