He knew. Ali knew who his real father was.

Neslihan couldn't stop pacing inside of her office. The pen in her hand was in the verge of breaking while she used it as a way to contain her tension. Not that it was working.

It was all her fault. After the confrontation with Güven, where he kept questioning if she would really take the secret of Yaman Ali's paternity to her grave, she lose all of her senses and brought up that hellish letter. As expected, he got even madder then and left to look for their son. In a impulse to stop him, in a try to contain a scene, she followed behind him throughout the whole hospital, begging Güven to see reason. Only for Ali to come upon the sod letter right when she was returning to her office. Why did she have to leave the remains of that letter behind? Why didn't she care it with her after all?

She went back to her desk and checked on her phone one more time. No, there was nothing from him. Picking up the cellphone, she dialed again her son's number.

"Please, Ali, pick up. Please, son."

Like the other times, it went straight to his voice mail. Liberating a frustrated sigh, Neslihan resisted the urge to throw her cell through her window.

How could her entire world be collapsing so fast? As if she didn't already have a lot in her lap at the moment with Ece's heart failure and Çağla's situation.

With trembling hands, she stuck the cellphone in her pocket and got out of the office. Maybe he was with his friends. Right, he just went to find some solitude in them. That's it.

"Nothing happened to him, Neslihan", she kept repeating mentally for herself.

As she got closer of reaching Umut's hospital room, she could hear laughs and loud voices coming from there but sadly none of them were Ali's. The doctor waited a little outside of the room praying to hear anything from him, anything that gave away a sign that he was there too.

It was unbearable for her to imagine her son alone, brooding in suffering because of that life altering information. Not her little boy who already had been through so much in all those years separated from her, from them.

She took a deep breath and knocked the door. "Excused me, dears."

"Yes? Oh, Ms. Soysalan, please do coming in", Cesur welcomed her.

Her eyes searched the entire room but no trace of him or anything that indicated that he passed by in the last hours.

"I was looking for Ali. Have you guys talked to him recently?"

"Yaman? No. We were actually waiting for him today but he didn't show up until now and his phone has no signal. Why, did something happened to him?", Asi jumped on the conversation. The worry in her voice was already noticeable.

"No, nothing happened", she was quickly to dissuade them. It was better if everybody believed in it for a while longer, she couldn't risk anything. "How's been your recovery, Umut? All's good, I hope?"

The kid smiled at her and nodded. "All's fine, Ms. Soysalan."

"I'm happy to know. Well... I will leave you alone now, children. Just come here in hope Ali was with you. I'm sorry if I interrupted you somehow."
