01 - Pilot

I did it.

I sang.

I sang for One Direction's management.

I sang to see if I would get to be in One Direction.

Be the fifth member of the boy band.

I've loved One Direction since they were first formed on the X Factor in 2010. I'm a diehard directioner at heart, and always will be.

I'm gay. If that's not already apparent to you yet. I hope that doesn't ruin my chances of getting in. I walked into the waiting room with the other few people that got chosen because of their video entries.

After about three other people went in and came back out. I saw their management go down the hall to disscuss it with the boys themselves. Who saw what we looked and sounded like singing from a video recorder like what them have in malls that shows whats going on in one place at the exact same time as when it's happening. Oh god! Harry, Liam and Zayn got to hear what I sounded like. Oh God! Louis! Louis heard what I sounded like. Oh my god! I'm in the same building as fucking Louis William Tomlinson!

I love him. Literally love him. He's perfect.

My palms were sweating. I was literately shaking from nerves.

"Niall Horan." Someone called from the other side of the room. I stood up and walked over to him. The man lead me down the hall and into a small room. He closed the door behind him.

I sat down in a black chair and the man sat across from me on the other side of the table.

"With some discussion with the rest of management and the boys. We have chosen you to be part of One Direction."

I couldn't stop the huge smile form on my face. I wanted to laugh and cry all at the same time.

"You will get to meet the boys tomorrow, back here. Then you will get to spend some time with them on a small vacation for two weeks, then it's back to work. So pack what you'll need for the trip."

"Th-Thank you sir!" I stuttered from the nerves. I shook his hand and stood up. "I'll give you my phone number, just call if you need anything at all." He handed me a business card and I put it in my pocket. I stood up and left the room. I walked out to a waiting car in the parking lot. I opened the door and jumped in the back with my best friend, Kyla. Her sister drove me here since my mum was working. Her sister was gone right now, went into the store quickly, or so a text message to my phone said.

"Well..." Kyla said. "Did you get it?" She asked me and I smiled the biggest smile ever.

"OH MY GOD!!!!" She screamed and hugged me. We both started screaming in happiness.

After the scream fest she started to question me.

"So when do we get to meet them?" She asked.

"We?" I said, confused.

"What do you think? I'm coming with you!" She said to me.

"I'm not sure that management would let you come with me. But the one guy gave me a phone number, so I guess we could call and ask him."

"Yay!" She screamed and hugged me. "My best friend is in One Direction! This is so awesome!!!" She squealed.
