Everyone was gathered in the porch. Maybe they are waiting for us only. I went towards them and touched everyones feet.

I was about to touch kakima's feet but she stopped me and said "betiyaa per nahi chhuti beta or abhi toh mai young hu mujhe buddhi mat banao"

(daughters do not touch feet and I'm still young don't make me old)

Everyone started laughing and kakosa said "sahi baat hai" sarcastically.

(Yaa sure)

"Maaaaaaaaaa agli baar pooja shaam ko rakhwayege mujhse itta jaldi nahi utha jaata" ved said with a yawn.

(Maa next time We'll do pooja in night i just can't wake up this early)

"Ye baat aap apne bade bhai se kahiyega thik" maa replied to him and said "lo aagye aapke bade bhai avy ved kuch kehna chahte hai aapse"

(Tell this to your elder brother okay)
(Look here he come, Avy ved wants to tell you something)

Avyansh looked at ved and raises his eyebrow to ask.

Ved lost all his sleep and his eyes widened with shock. and shook his negatively "nahi bhai kuch nahi woh toh bas ese hi....mai pooja ki taiyaari dekh ke aata hu" and ran from there.

(No bhai its nothing, I'll just go and look at the preparations of pooja)

I laughed and he looked towards me again raising his eyebrow as if asking me what is so funny. I shooked my head and looked down.

"Mihir nahi aaya?" maa asked him
"aa raha hai" he replied and asked where is vedika.

(Mihir didn't come?)
(On his way)
(Where is vedika?)

"mai yaha hu yaha hu yaha hu yaha" Vedika was coming down the stairs singing this.

(I'm here I'm here)

"OMG...bhabhisa bhut sundar lagre ho aap" vedika exclaimed happily and hugged me.

(Omg bhabhisa you're looking very beautiful)

"Thankyou vedika and you're also looking very beautiful" i replied to her.

"Hann agree but not more than you hena bhaii?" She asked him and I looked at him with the hope for one compliment.

(Yess but not more than you right bhai?)

"pooja ke liye late ho raha hai" he replied and left from there.

(I am late for puja)

Ouch. Ek haa hi bol dete. It did hurt me so i looked down.

(Ouch. atleast he could've said yes)

"Bhai toh ese hi hai bhabhisa saduu aap tension naa lo...bhut sundar lagre ho aap" She tried to consoul me. I smiled at her and we left for the pooja.

(Bhai is just like this only bhabhisa you don't worry you're looking very preety)

I was so shocked after seeing all the preparations for the puja. I knew today was pooja but i didn't knew that it was of such grand level.

There was large murti of shivling situated in the middle of the temple. Everything was decorated so beautifully. If i say i was in a awe would be an understatement. I was looking at everything very excitingly than my eyes fell on him.

He was talking to pandit ji about something. Idk if maybe he felt my stare on him so he also looked at me and called me to join him. I excitedly went towards him.

She was looking very beautiful but that was for me to know. when suddenly vedika asked me about how is she looking and she was also looking at me with those curious and innocent eyes i didn't know what to answer so i just made an excuse and came out from there.
