chapter 1: confusion

Emma, 23 years old, lives in london, pharmacy college, always gets straight A's,.... Sometimes abit lazy but that doesn't stop her from doing her work, she doesn't like to talk about relationships or that kind of subjects, she thinks its a waste of time even tho she has a boyfriend but deep down she just deals with it as friendship, but thats not the same with her boyfriend "dave", emma wakes up in the morning of her graduation day, she doesn't feel okay.....she doesn't know if she's ready for what's next...., not excited..... Emma owns a car she always goes to college with it everyday, while on her way to college, it's her last day...... She gets ready in the dressing room, giving fake smiles to her colleagues......the day is finally over and here she goes back home....the craziest thing was that her birthday was tomorrow. After graduation day, her head is full of what ifs......what she gonna do now? Where will she work, even tho she started taking classes in some aspects of her department, already signed for an application but she didnt hear of yet....yeah thats just....overthinking as usual, she gets to bed, the clock ticks.....and it reached 12:00.....then this happens.

A huge light shined soo bright with no sound at all, emma didn't notice but she felt a sweet rush of air while she's sleeping....she sees.....a man wearing a black suit....she's still sleepy....her room gets abit colder than usual.....that man walked slowly towards emma... Emma cant see still, only blurry image....emma thought she's dreaming, so she didn't really care and went back to sleep....next morning, emma wakes up, unbothered, unmotivated, emma doesn't really have many friends, only 1 friend (kate) and her boyfriend, kate came by her house, rang the door, emma opens and welcomes her,....hmm...her boyfriend wasnt there yet and its 3 pm already...... Conversation with kate along with preparing the cake that kate brought, emma calls dave to come at curtain hour, so they get ready before he arrives, emma talks with kate...along with the conversation she sees a shadow of a man.....that man wasn't creepy to her at all but now she sees clearly without blurring, she sees.....a 40-43 year old man...same black suit...staring back at her....she wasnt creeped out becuz she asked kate if she brought someone with her and she said no, who else would i bring?...... Kate cant even see that man..... Emma still stares at him, eye contact continues until dave's car arrived, emma has to focus on her special day, she doesn't wanna ruin it, the rest of the day becomes very....natrual....then the clock ticks and his 12:00 again...but kate and dave left... Emma closing the door and turning back to clean up the mess on the table, she puts dishes in the sink, rest of the cake in the fridge....while emma in her busy moment cleaning up she hears footsteps... She looks back...and that man is lurking...says,: happy birthday emma..... Emma asks: who are you?.... Then the man smiles softy and moves towards her slowly... Emma becomes defensive. She asks again how did you get in here?! He looks back at her and says :.....thought you will already know.... Emma looked confused....very confused.... All of the sudden she remembers a dream she had....before waking up to her birthday...that dream.... Was a direct messege to her but she couldn't remember, he says: im here for a reason emma,..... To you, im a spirit guide...only you can see me, for us to work and for me to help you get through your life...there are rules to follow, you will need me for the rest of your life, its up to you, rules are : 1 - i cant help you unless you asked me to
2 - Do NOT look at me in puplic
3 - feelings involved between me and you whether its (anger-sadness- etc) will eventually leads to make me disappear, my job is to help, not to disrupt......... Emma looks at him.... That man.....has a verrrry perfect face features....perfect body shape....he just looks...perfectly....made in heaven... Emma is surprised... Cuz how a human can see his spirit guide when all humans cant equally see, what's so special about emma? She asked.....that man answered with :.... God created spirit guides to help you while you cant see....sometimes they become very alluring to humans.. We are not alike..we are literally made to guide, god mades us invisible so people dont get attached to us,..... He leans closer to emma.... And says: im the one who been with you since the day you were born...since the day you started walking...the day u went to school...even the trauma that you dont like to talk about....hell! Even when you are alone,i saw every little inch of your body, and nothing is a secret for me, but thats ok cuz it's not forbidden, everyone has their own spirit guide, i even cuddle with you when you get sad, and when you cried i never left you hanging... He said with a very lowercase voice......while looking deep into her eyes...emma looks up back to him...cuz that man is reaaaally tall.... Emma really cant believe.....he said : you have a meeting tomorrow you better be ready for it....should i call you "em"? With a soft voice.... Emma is still speachless....emma and that man hears someones rings the door bell.... That man....looks at the door then moves to somewhere where he's unseen....emma opens the door shocked, she found dave at her door telling her that she forgot her bag at his house last time they were together, dave notices the changes on emma's face. He asks: are....you ok?
Emma says : yea...yyea... Thanks anyway, then she talks about what she gonna do tomorrow, same as dave......that man was watching..... Emma could still feel his gaze but what can she do?, she finished talking with dave....then turns around, that man wasnt there, she goes back to bed and shuts her eyes......and there he is...standing behind her....abit far from her bed looking at her....... He sits on a chair thats very close to the bed.... And kept watching her overnight....while watching he saw entities.... Trying to be disguised as humans.... Talking to that man, and that man is silent, only observing. Those entities said : what a great human partner you haveee...."cohort".....the rest of them laughs quietly....then one of them asked:....what are youu up too?i wonder...... Coh' doesn't answer... And just looks away,...while they're laughing and fading away......----
