Bdubs is always staring at him when he is working.

Quite frankly he couldn't get his gazing glare off of him, neither while building nor relaxing. But who could blame him? Etho had the most beautiful never ending eyes, with his long volumed hair and amazing smile — which he didn't see much but he knew it was beautiful.

It was kinda weird honestly. They've been best friends since childhood and suddenly these new feelings started to bloom in his body. It was a weird feeling as well, a gentle touch of his best would make him squirm under it. Whenever their fingers slipped across each other when working he could feel a warm shiver cross his spine.

Bdubs likes it though, he loves it even.

However what makes Bdubs hide these feelings is another question. Why couldn't he just confess to Etho to get over it, or ask him out for a date, that would simply fix all conflicts if Etho just said yes.
But it's not as simple as that, Etho hasn't dared to explore his feelings for the life of him, and Bdubs knew it wouldn't be easy for him to start either.

He could remember a few years ago when etho had broken down an evening by just a few words that spilled out of bdubs' mouth.

He didn't mean to make his best friend sob of course, he knew it wasn't his fault. Etho had repeatedly whispered between sobs; 'it's not your fault- bdubs, I just.. I bottle my feelings up. And I didn't—' a harsh sob cut him off. 'I didn't mean to spill out like this.'

He'd fallen asleep on his lap that night. With bdubs stroking the white hair gently, doing it simultaneously with the soft breaths from underneath.

That's one of bdubs's most treasured memories, however, the one time etho flirted with him surprisingly good was high up there as well.

Bdubs would consider himself as a hopeless romantic.

"Hey Bdubs?" He felt a hand shake his shoulder, getting him out of his trance.

"Oh— hi Etho! Sorry, I think I zoned out." The shorter apologized quickly to the taller in front of him, holding a dispenser block.

Right! Etho was helping him build a redstone contraption, which he had have several hours struggling with, but finally gave up and asked for help.

Etho obviously gladly accepted, why wouldn't he? They were best friends after all. The latter sentence rang repeatedly in his ears before getting snapped back to life.

"Dubs! You gotta quit doing that, you're scaring me man." Etho laughed lightly before continuing, "you were literally just staring at me deep in thoughts."

The masked male tilted his head to the side as he muttered out the words. Bdubs, thinking about what his mind had been wandering about, crossed his arms and turned his head embarrassed of himself.

Etho chuckled as he always does. "What were you thinking of anyway?" The brunette could hear the mischievous voice as he asked.

Bdubs didn't dare to look at him, he knew he would break by one look of his best friend.

The shorter man took a deep breath and proceeded to explain but got abruptly cut off. "Dubs." Etho said softly, grabbing his jaw and carefully making them get eye contact. The taller was standing much closer, just mere centimeters from his face, however bdubs needed to gaze upwards to look at the stunning man.
