Y/N POV:

The sun is setting, and the amber lighting puts further contrast on her dark palette, highlighting all the features I adore. Her dark eyes twinkling as she looks at me. The stray raven coloured hairs that escaped her braids, adding a calm and casual essence to her appearance. Her gentle smile that makes my heart swell. The slit in her eyebrow, somehow making her even more attractive. Her adorable nose, pulling all her features together. She really is the most beautiful person I've ever seen. The more I get to know her, the more I see her, the deeper I fall. She's like a drug, and I'm addicted.

I turn to look at the sunset, the way the colours mix and merge really is mesmerising. I feel her gaze stay focused on me, and I smile to myself, enjoying her attention.

"Look at the view, it's gorgeous," I say as I watch the clouds move over their warm, ombre background.

"I already have the best view," She replies.

I feel my cheeks warm as I turn to face her again. She pulls me in for another kiss, this one slow, lingering and full of passion. I savour the sweet taste of her cherry lip gloss, sucking gently on her bottom lip as we pull away. I smile at her as she turns her head and leans it on to my shoulder. I lean my head on top of hers and feel her let out a relaxed sigh.

"Thank you," She says.

"For what?"

"For caring about me enough to run at something that killed you last time you saw it," She says, then pauses. "And for making my first kiss the best experience of my gloomy little life."

"Yeah well, I'd do anything for you, and that kiss was magical."

"So what now?" She says after a short silence.

"What do you mean?"

"Like are we dating or just like what do we do now, this has never happened to me before."

"Well, I mean, do you want to date?" I ask slowly, still scared of rejection.

"Hmm, I'll think about it," She says.

She smirks at me and stands up and walks away back towards Nevermore. I sit in shock for a second, before letting out a small laugh. I stand up and jog to catch up to her, we walk side by side in silence for a little while. I finally work up the courage to try and hold her hand. I slowly intertwine my fingers with hers, and she doesn't pull her hand away. She holds mine tightly in her strong, yet comforting grip. I feel my smile widen as I walk through my comfort place, with my comfort person. We walk back through the trees, and the sky is now a deep navy blue, the large school building is up ahead and back in view now. In the lighting, it looks even more like an ancient castle. We walk towards it slowly, enjoying the lack of people outside. The only sound, the gentle whispers of nature around us.

We approach the stairs leading to Ophelia Hall, her hand still firmly in mine, and we walk up them. When we reach the hall leading to our dorm. I stop, and she turns to look at me.

"Do we tell Enid?" I ask.

"Not yet, I don't want her posting about it on her blog and then everyone's attention will be on us even more,"

"Agreed, I don't want any big dramas, especially just after I got attacked."

She hums in agreement, and we walk further down the corridor towards our dorm. When we reach the door, we let go of each other's hands, and I instantly crave contact with her again. She opens the door, and Enid is sat up on her bed, seeming to have been waiting for us. She stands up and walks straight over to us as soon as the door opens, Thing and Ingrid close behind her.
