We all have moments that occur to us that change our lives forever. It could be for the better, or for the worse...
All I know is, Daniel Hunter was the moment my life was waiting for.

"I don't even know why girls want to get noticed by boys, they only get their hearts broken anyway," I say to my best friend Keira as we walk into the school's hallway."I know right, you would think that after getting rejected so many times they would get the hint." Keira laughs.
It was true though, as we walk past the school's lockers, one girl was fixing her makeup and had a love confession letter in her hand. She was only just rejected by a boy four days ago.
"Then again what do we know? We're single."
"And you'll always be single if you don't talk to some boys once in a while." my other best friend Elle told us.
"Hey El"
"Don't "hey El" me, where were you last night? You promised you would at least attempt to come to a party with me."
"I'm so sorry but I couldn't make it, one because it was a school night and two because you know I don't do parties, despite any promises I keep," I tell her.
"Also, let me guess, you were watching Netflix?" Keira laughs.
"Of course, I had to find out who A was." causing all of us to laugh."Well there's a party next Saturday, it would be great if you came."
"Yeah, you'll have to get outside of your comfort zone once in a while and we will obviously be with you every step of the way," Keira smiles.
"Maybe but you know I-" "
"I know, I know," Elle mutters.I already knew my answer, I would definitely not be going to that party, or any party for that matter.
Parties seem like a horrible idea to me. Drunk teenagers who all hate me under one roof? I'd be a walking target for them thanks to Maya Patterson.
However, in all the books I have read, someone -a knight in shining armour you may say- always saves the poor nerd, the victim, from the bullying. However, this is real life and the only person saving me is myself. That's why I have to take precautions, and if not attending parties is the way to keep me safe, then so be it.
"Well just think about it ok?" Elle pleaded.
I nodded my head but we both knew I was lying."Great well I need to get to class, but I'll see you two later on," Elle said as she walks off in the wrong direction.
"She does realise that her class is the other way right?" I asked Keira.
"Of course she does, she just wants to meet up with Thomas for another make out session," Keira told me.
"Gross" I laughed,
"I know right, I don't understand them, two nights ago they broke up and now they're back together, and the week before that is was the same thing, and the week before that, and the week before that, and the week befo-"
"You can stop now," I laughed."I'm just saying, what happens if they get married? Can you imagine all the wedding dresses and divorce papers," Keira tells me.
She groaned, "speaking of someone who's going to have many future divorces..."
"Please don't tell me it's her."
"It's her, Queen Mega Bitch."Two words: Maya Patterson.
She's our school's ''princess''. The most popular girl in school. In everyone's eyes she could do no wrong. She's their definition of perfect.
She's my definition of hell.
She's the reason why I can't go to large social events. She would make sure that her and her friends would make it torture for me. Just a continuation of a normal school day.
She's been bullying me for four years now. I couldn't tell you why because even I don't know. But she will do everything in her power to make my life a living hell.
"Do we have time to run?" I ask Keira.
"If we bo-,"But as we were talking about an escape plan, Miss princess and her minions were already at us.
Here we go...
"Alice, Keira, what are you doing in my corridor?" Maya asked,
"Actually, it's not your corridor, it belongs to the school," Keira crosses her arms.
"Oh really?"
"Well last time I checked, my dad funded most of the school's facilities including the floor and wall of this corridor. I would say that it then belongs to me, wouldn't you?" Maya smirked.
Her friends nodded their heads in agreement.Keira laughed, "what kind of logic is that?"
Maya's face dropped, "what did you say to me?"
She moved closer and closer to us, but in particular, more closer to me.Keira clenched her fists and looked at me.
"Nothing," she sighed.Keira knows that if she or anyone of my friends provoke Maya in anyway then it'll just end badly for me later.
"That's what I thought," Maya smiled, backing away.
"You having a thought?"
Oh Thank god!
"Well that's a first, even for you Maya," Elle said approaching us with her boyfriend Thomas. However, when Elle defends me Maya retreats. Ever since Elle threatened her for bullying me outside of school, she's always been scared of Elle.
Nobody knows what Elle has on Maya, but it must be good for the princess of the school to back down.Maya backed away as Elle approached more.
"What, still scared of Elle are you?" says Thomas laughing.Maya rolled her eyes, "please, I'm clearly backing up due to the smell that is coming from you two. Ever heard of a shower?"
Her friends laughed like it was the funniest thing they had heard all day."Actually I do smell something strange," Elle frowned.
She moved closer to Maya, "I think the flooring of this corridor is starting to stink. What a shame, shouldn't you be taking better care of your corridor?""How dare you say th-"
"Babe just calm down," a voice tells Maya.Oh great it was King Mega Bitch.
