𖤐 PROLOGUE - ARRIVAL 𖤐

• NARRATOR POV •

"And here we are!" Jay said, huffing and out of breathe as the two, him and Y/N, stood in front of the Monestaries gates. Y/N looked up at the sheer height of them, and then looked at Jay who was starting to regain some of his composure.

"Welcome, Jay.. And.. Your brother, I assume?" A voice asked, from the now open gates. Y/N turned to face the voice and Jay jumped a little.

"Ah- ah yes.. Y/N, my brother." Jay answered, giving Y/N a little nudge. Y/N rolled his eyes and pushed Jay back.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. Now please, come in." Wu said, walking away from the Monestaries gates. Jay gasped in awe at the magnifigance of the place, before two other Ninja were spotted in the centre of the training compound.

Y/N furrowed his brows, he was a little bit on the nervous side about all this, he wasn't a fan of strangers very much. It's why he had insisted he went with Jay, who had just described Wu as a 'strange old man'.

The two Ninja in question seemed completely different in appearance. The one on the right had fluffy, black hair and his eyes were of the deepest browns, presenting a feeling of mysteriousness.

The one on the left, however, had a much softer look about him. He had platinum blonde hair and soft blue eyes, which looked almost robotic.

"These two are Zane and Cole." Wu introduced, gesturing with his staff towards the two. Y/N nodded and Jay seemed to spin with excitement.

"I'm Jay, it's nice to meet you both! This is my brother Y/N, don't mind the silence, he's just weird." Jay said, which earned a swift punch, from his brother, to the left arm.

"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintances." Zane recited, pulling Y/N's eyes away from his brother and over to him.

"Hey.. nice to meet you both." Cole said, a little more lazily. For a first impression, you'd think he wasnt exactly the most motivated as he spoke in a very uncaring way.

Eventually, the two were shown to their rooms. Where they would stay at their new home. Y/N, not being one of the Ninja, managed to get his own room, albeit small. Wu said it was due to the 'alarm' every morning, whatever that meant.

The room was small, as mentioned, but it was cozy. The walls were blank, it had small bed and a side table where Y/N could keep his stuff, he'd definitely need to make it his own. The young boy dumped his bag onto his bed, unpacking his clothes, toiletries and the lot. He pulled out a small dagger necklace from his bag and gently strung it around his neck, before tucking it into his shirt and then leaving to find his brother.

When he did end up finding him, Jay was stood in a huddle with the other two boys. Upon seeing Y/N, he beckoned him over.

"Y/N!!" He beckoned, to which Y/N replied with an eye roll before he walked over. He hummed and stood next to Jay, as Jay turned to continue the topic at hand.
