The halls were crowded with students all exiting the school, the shouts and chatter of them were echoing through the hallway. and it seemed like any other day for Johnny. A normal routine: he woke up, got ready and went to school but, that all changed in a matter of seconds when Johnny heard footsteps coming towards his locker. Johnny put his stuff in his bag and closed his locker, he saw Daniel. His boyfriend.
"Hey, Johnny..." Daniel said with a dull tone, unlike how he usually speaks. Johnny smiled and quickly gave Daniel a peck on the cheek.
"Hello, babe!" Johnny said enthusiastically while grinning. Daniel looked away as if he was ashamed or rather upset. Daniel then sighed deeply before looking back up at Johnny.
"I have to tell you something and it's serious." Daniel spoke up and gulped. Johnny furrowed his eyebrows and nodded.
"Okay. I'm all ears." Johnny stated, he was prepared for the worst. His mind raced with horrible thoughts.
"Is Daniel going to break up with me? Does he not love me anymore? Does he want to take a break?..." Johnny thought but he shook it off and began focusing on Daniel and his words.
"I'm getting lobotomized." Daniel finally admitted, turning his gaze to the floor.
"And it's happening today." Daniel sniffled and wiped his tears. "I'm scared..." Daniel let out a sob before hugging Johnny as tight as he could. Johnny took a minute to process the information before hugging Daniel back.
"It's okay. You'll be fine, those things don't even do anything to someone but stick a needle in their head." Johnny tried to reassure Daniel but he failed miserably, Daniel only sobbed harder.
"Hey, it'll be okay..." Johnny said comfortingly. Daniel sniffled and nodded. "You're right..."
