Where Is He?

NOBODY'S POV
The day was getting darker as a young man with blonde hair can be seen walking down the street, hands being shoved into his pocket as he walked.

After a few minutes later, he arrived at his favorite cafe. He went inside and took the furthest seat in the cafe, wanting to have time alone for himself.

The man called the waiter and ordered his favorite tea with a donut and two waffles. While waiting for his order to arrive, he scrolled down his phone in silent.

After 10 minutes, his order arrived and he payed the bill. He took a sip on his tea before reaching for the donut and eat it.

It was a peaceful moment for him until someone called him. He looked at the person's name contact on his phone before answer it.

Ryan: Hello, Ethan! How are you?

Ethan: Hi, mate! I'm doing great. How about you?

Ryan: Nothing much, I'm doing good too by the way. I just.... been busy lately.... * sad smile *

Ethan: * concerned * Is it about your brother, Ryan?

Ryan: Yeah.... * sigh *

Ethan: I see. Say, how long has he been missing exactly, mate?

Ryan: Two weeks. He promised me that he will gone for four days but he didn't come back. I don't even know where he went. * worried *

On the other side of the phone, Ethan bit his lip as he wanted to say something, but he couldn't.

He had promised with Leon that he will not tell about his whereabouts to Ryan.

" Promise me that you won't tell Ryan about my mission in Spain. It's for his own good. "

" I'll keep my mouth shut, don't worry. One question tho, what's your mission in Spain by the way? "

" The president wanted me to save his daughter, which was kidnapped and her last location was in Spain. "

" I see. Well then, I guess it's time for you to leave, I assumed? "

" Yeah. And remember, don't spill any of the information to anyone, especially Ryan. "

" You have my words, Leon. "

After a moment, he decided to break his promise with Leon and tell Ryan where he went.

Erhan: * sigh * Actually, I know where he went, Ryan.

Ryan: * shocked * Wait - really?!

Ethan: Yep. He went on a mission in Spain to save the president's daughter. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, mate.

Ryan: You knew this the whole time? Why telling me now? * hurt *

Ethan: I have made a promise with your brother, Ryan. But regarding with his disappearing's for two weeks, I have no choice but to tell you the truth.

Ryan let out a small sigh. He took another sip on his tea and a bite of his waffles before continuing his talk with Ethan.

Ryan: Thanks for telling me, Ethan. I appreciate it.

Ethan: No problem. But you need to promise me something, mate.

Ryan: * confused * What is it, Ethan?

Ethan: Promise me you won't go to Spain and track down Leon's location.

Ryan: I promise, mate. * lied *

Ethan: Good.

TIME SKIP.....

Ryan closed the door as he entered his and Leon's apartment. He took off his shoes and walked towards the kitchen to drink some water.

After that, he went towards his bedroom to changed his clothes and brushed his teeth before went to bed. Just then,  something small bumped into his leg and he looked down.

It was a a white kitten, which Ryan called it Kelvin. He smiled as he picked up the kitten and booped his nose with his hand.

Ryan: Hello, Kelvin. Let's go to bed, shall we? * cooed *

The kitten just meowed in response. The man patted his head before took Kelvin into his bedroom. After that, he went to sleep.

A FEW HOURS LATER.....

The kitchen's window was slowly being opened as a dark figure went inside. The person closed the window and looked around the place in silent.

" Looks like the cost is clear. "

The person walked around the apartment until they found Ryan's bedroom. With caution, they slowly opened the door and saw the blonde man sleeping peacefully with Kelvin in his bed.

The person looked towards Ryan for a few minutes before they took out a small note and put it on the nightstand besides him.

After that, they took the blanket that fell to the ground and draped it on Ryan. They also give the kitten a small pat on the head for a few times until it's time for them to go.

" Don't worry, Ryan Kennedy. We'll meet soon enough. I hope you will prepare with what's happening in Spain right now. "

The person took a last glance towards Ryan before they existed from the room and closed the door.

A few minutes later, they left the apartment like nothing happened.
