Amelia couldn't help but think that things were going too well for her and Simon. They had been living together for a couple of months now. And she was glad that it has been working out.

She knew all they had been through. All they had overcome. And part of her couldn't help but think that she had finally got her life together.

She couldn't believe how well things had gone. She had her little girl. And she had Simon. She didn't know how to feel knowing how everything had fallen into place.

She knew that things had been going well. But part of her had doubts that things wouldn't work. Or she and Simon would fall apart.

That was the one thing she didn't want to happen. Especially as she knew she wouldn't have anyone if she didn't have Simon.

All she knew was that her life was finally on track. And she was going to do all she could to make it work.

Morning came and she was in bed with Simon. He looked to her. "Liv is going off the rails. I don't know what's wrong with her. But she's not coming back until 4am," he told her.

"She hasn't said anything to me. Are you okay?" Amelia asked.

Simon nodded. "I'm good. I've got you. And I've got my family. We're going to be okay," he said as he kissed her.

Amelia smiled as she cuddled into him. She sighed. "Do you think Liv is acting up cause I'm here?" She asked.

"No. I think she's just being stubborn. Don't worry. I'll sort it," he told her as he held her close.

He knew that he was worried about his daughter. But he wasn't going to risk his relationship with Amelia. Not when he was finally happy.

The door opened and Isabella walked in. Maisie toddled behind her. "Morning girls," Simon said as he lifted them up onto the bed.

Maisie looked to them. "Mummy gone."

Simon sighed and held his granddaughter close. Amelia smiled as she looked to her. "It's gonna be okay. Mummy has just gone to school early," she said. 

"Okay."

Amelia went into school. She saw Olivia and walked over to her. She smiled. "Hey. What's going on?" She asked. 

Olivia sighed and smiled. "Nothing. I'm okay. I'm just... I'm struggling a little right now. But I'm gonna be okay. I appreciate you and my dad watching Maisie."

"It's okay. You know you can talk to me don't you? I'm still your best friend. I always will be," Amelia told her.

"I know. I'm gonna be okay. You and my dad are happy aren't you?" Olivia asked. 

"We're good. We're happy."

"Good. That's good."

Amelia walked into Simon's office. She looked to him and smiled. "I spoke to Liv. She said she's struggling. But she's gonna be okay," she told him.

Simon turned to her. "Her mum has been in touch. She wants Liv to go and live with her. She's moving up here," he said. He sighed. "She wants me and Liv to go back to her."

Amelia frowned. But with Simon's ex back in the picture, would things be okay between them both?
