"Selena, wake up!" Sylvia, Selena's mother, called out to her. Selena got up with a heavy sigh. Putting on her new school uniform, she was sad to leave her old school. But they didn't support programs over grade 7. Selena walks to the dining area and sees her mother and her older brother, Her older brother's name is Cedric. She leaves to walk to school without eating breakfast. Seems she wasn't in the mood. When Selena got to school, she unwillingly introduced herself due to the facilitator's orders. The first few classes, people tried to approach her. She only had an interest particularly in Sofia, Tonya, and River. The following days she had an average time at school. Until.. she fell in love. But we'll get to that later. She hid him by pretending to have a crush on another guy, Daniel Lau.
Even though rumors spread about Selena's "crush" on Daniel, they were still good friends. They hung out after dismissal since their fetchers came late all the time, but during classes and break times, they avoided each other since they had very different friend groups. You could say she had a small crush on him but it quickly faded. Daniel and Selena were hanging out near JuiceWorld, a juice store in the cafeteria of their school. A few classmates had seen them and unfortunately decided to approach them. Mentioned before, Daniel and Selena were casual friends so they could do things normally. So Daniel had his arm around Selena's shoulder and there was now a misunderstanding. "You guys dating or something?" One of the male classmates spoke up, making the others ask the same. Obviously Daniel declined the accusation while Selena sat there in silence. She zoned out and had focused on one of the guys, he had blonde-pink ombre with messy hair and dark brown eyes.
But she snapped out of it once Daniel had taken hold of her hand, standing her up and walking her away from the situation that she was unaware of. They arrived in an empty classroom near the gym entrance and then Daniel closed the door behind them, checking for followers. "You okay? You zoned out." Daniel finally spoke up after making sure the coast was clear. "Yeah, sorry, what happened? Did you guys fight?" Selena asked with a worried tone. "No, words were exchanged, that's it. My mom is at the gate, so i gotta go, are you gonna be fine?" Daniel asked, picking up his backpack and water bottle. "Yeah no worries, my driver is almost here anyway." Selena replied calmly, also picking up her bag. "Alright let's head out." Daniel puts his arm around Selena's shoulder as they walk together to the front gate. Daniel then detaches his arm from her and waves goodbye, walking out the front gate. Selena smiled and waved goodbye, but her smile turned into a frown when she saw the same guys from earlier. The ones who bothered them at Juiceworld. Selena rolled her eyes and tried to hide her face, pleading for her driver to arrive at any moment. But alas, the guys approached her. One of them, tall with a slight buzz cut pinned her to the wall with one arm above her head. Xavier Aldon, legacy student. Not long after Xavier's arm met with the wall, Selena's driver arrived, and she thanked the Gods. She rushed to the front gate and ran to the car, telling her driver to drive away quickly. "I just wanna sleep.." Selena managed to blurt out before laying her seat down and soon falling asleep.
When she arrived home, she decided to go on her laptop and start checking her class group chat. Since it was orientation week, no uniforms, no classes, no homework. Well they had classes but no lessons, mostly getting to know each other. There were a few people talking but she decided to seenzone since she didnt know much people in the class yet. Selena got tired of it and just went to bed, still thinking of the blonde-pink haired guy. "Selena! Some of your friends are at the door for you!" Sylvia shouted from downstairs, she didn't have time to go upstairs since she was washing the dishes. Selena groaned, getting out of bed and rushing downstairs. She opened the door to see the same group of boys from school.
