Waiting for you

Chapter 1

Hi! I'm makoy 22 years old, currently i'm a 2nd year college student. At first, college was kinda boring for me, all new faces for me and its tough for a introverted guy like to have new friends. But luckily for me, zack and danny approach me and talked to me, so now we're friends and we finished our first year together.

Its the start of our second year. Me, zack and danny agreed to meet up at our room. I got there early first, when i got there, there are already other students that are chatting with the other students. I sat down at the back end of the room. In just a few minutes, zack and danny showed up.

"Hey man, did you wait long?" Zack asks me as he sat down, "nah, not that long" i responded and he just nods as a reply. "So, what's up?" Danny asks. "Oh bro, i met this really hot chick a few days ago at the bar—", zack stopped and looked at the other direction to where a VERY pretty girl with long, silky black hair, beautiful eyes, and a beautiful smile on her lips came in, every other student's eyes were suddenly on her and mine too. Then, she suddenly looked in my direction, my heart skipped a beat, immediately i looked away, avoiding her beautiful eyes.

"That's chen right?" Danny ask, i act that i didn't heard him, "yeah, i heard she's popular and the prettiest here" zack replied to danny. "Heard she's single" zack said, my ears perked up at what i heard, i quietly listens to zack's and danny's conversation, "that's what i heard too but don't even zack you're waayyy out of her league" danny said chuckling, "fuck you dude, i know that of course" zack said then they both laugh. "Is she that popular?" I asked both of them, they both looked at me at the same time, shocked that i asked, they raise their eyebrows at me and smiling at me. "What? Why yall giving me that look?" I asked them, "Bro you like her?" Zack asks me, "what? Where did that even came from? I just asked if she's that popular" i said then frowned at him at the same time, i looked away immediately acting that i didn't really care.

Few minutes later...

The class had already been starting, i kept glancing at her time to time, chen sat 2 rows in front of me, I can't get my attention away from her. At one point, i didn't noticed that i was already staring at her. Then a piece of chalk flew and hit me on my forehead, i looked at the direction where it came from it was our professor. "Mister, stop staring at ms. chen and focus on our lesson" the professor said and continued with the lesson, the whole class laugh's temporary, my face turned bright red to what the professor said, i took a quick glance at chen to see her reaction, i saw her looking at me then quickly looked away when she saw that i glanced at her. I heard someone is laughing silently and it was zack and danny, "you like her that much makoy?" Zack said smirking at me and teasing me, while danny was just grinning at me, i just sighed at them silently denying to what they are saying.

After some minutes the school bell rang, its time already time for lunch. The three of us, packed up our things and go straight to the canteen. We got our usual food and got to where we usually sit, zack and danny talks to each other while me quietly "listens" to them, but actually i was thinking of chen the whole time, subtly looking around to see if she's in the canteen. Then suddenly someone sat at the vacant seat infront of me, IT WAS CHEN. "Is the seat taken?" Chen ask while looking straight at me, "n-no" i replied without looking back at her, i saw zack and danny in the corner of eye that they were grinning and looking at me teasingly. I just ignored their antics and continued eating my lunch. I secretly glances at her, "uhm excuse me, is there something you want to say? you keep on glancing at me" chen ask smiling at me, she has the most beautiful smile i have ever seen in my entire life, "n-nothing s-sorry" i replied, its embarrassing that i kept on stuttering while talking to her. "Hey chen! We've been waiting for you at our table, why are sitting there?" Suddenly someone spoke, it was rachel, a friend of chen. Chen turned her head to see rachel who was behind her, "oh rachel, no reason in particular" chen said smiling at her friend, then she turned to me and said thank you to me, i just nod my head at her. Then she left.
