4~ Meeting His New Family

We ended up driving to Carson's and spending the night there. I was not going to spend the night at my dad's house whatsoever. When we woke up, Carson's mom made breakfast and then we left to go back to my dads.

We knocked on the door and the same boy opened it. "Hello, we didn't have the chance to meet yesterday. My name is Jackleon. And yours is?"

Man this boy has manners. "My name is Jamie. And this is my best friend Shawn." I said, he led us into the house and we walked to the living room.

"What happened to your foot Jamie?" He asked me. "I broke my ankle." He nodded and then proceeded to tell me all the bones he broke. He broke a lot but not as many as me.

"Jackie!!!" We heard someone call, then we saw a model worthy woman walk into the room. "Oh hello! You must be Timmy's daughter Jamie. It's so nice to meet you."

I nodded, "same to you ma'am." She turned to Jack and told him, "Jackie, Tony called go call him back." Then she turned to Shawn and I. "Jamie I was just preparing lunch, would you like to join us?"

I nodded, Shawn and I got up at six and it was now 12. I was starving. She smiled and we walked to the dining room. Halfway through the woman making lunch, the Australian boy came inside the dining room.

"Hey Lucas! Have you met Timmy's daughter?" Lucas nodded, "we met the other day. Where is Tim?" The woman looked on the direction of my dad's office, "working. Why don't you go get him? Lunch is ready."

Shawn put his hand on my lap, "he better not say anything about you. If your uncomfortable you better tell me OK?" I nodded. The woman put pots of food on the table and then washed her hands.

She sat down across from me and smiled. "Jackie!" Jack came walking to the table and sat down next to the woman. "Where's Lucas and dad?" I gasped as he said dad and they looked at me weirdly. I gave them a small smile and looked down at my lap.

I felt my dad's presence enter the room and he sat down at the head of the table next to Shawn. Lucas sat down at the other end by me. Like one awkward little family.

They past the food around and I put only one piece of chicken on my plate. With only a baby's handful of mash potatoes and one small slice of lasagna. Shawn looked at me worriedly, and I avoided his eyes.

SHAWN'S POV~

I knew what she was doing. Her dad coming back was setting her back on healing. "So, I realized o haven't introduced myself. My name is Yolanda, and I married your dad two years ago." Jamie looked up and smiled.

"Jamie say something, it's rude to not talk when someone else is talking. I raised you better than that!" Her dad barked. Jamie lifted her head and softly said, "that's nice." I looked at her plate and she was cutting her food into small pieces. Oh no she will not go unnoticed.

"You raised her better than that? Timothy if you didn't notice but, you didn't have anything to do with raising her! You went to the bar got drunk for days and left her without food! I had to come here and take her to my house.

"You don't even know her middle name! You made her an anorexic and have bulimia! Now because of you she throws up everything she eats. She spent a whole year in a rehab center because of you!" I spat.

He doesn't deserve her, he doesn't deserve freedom. He's a monster that got out of his cage. He slammed down his drink and stared at me. "What authority do you have to tell me this?" "What authority do you have to be a father?" I retorted. "That's it! I want you out of my house!" I stood up and bowed. "Gladly." I said glaring at him.

I walked outside with Jamie following. We got into the car and drove to Carson's.

update: every Tuesday

OK so I updated today or yesterday, I can't remember. I want to clarify things. Yes I know I didn't update on Tuesday this week. I have a reason though, I didn't get lazy. My grandma past away Monday morning, and Tuesday I was busy creating the picture board and babysitting my baby cousin. Then Wednesday was her wake and Thursday was her funeral. So.... You gots an early update!!!
