Gotham City; September 27; 10:00am
It's been a few days since everything happened, Bats, who I now know as Bruce, thanks Robin, who I also now know as Dick, told me more about the type of deal my parents made. The Reds attacking, and the team, who is just now getting over the fact that Kaldur kept something to himself.
Meanwhile I've been getting used to staying here with the others. Alfred had been a saint the whole time, helping me settle in, a form of education, because I was on a little bit of a higher level than Connor and that's not saying much since he's a few years older than me anyways and is a clone that wasn't alive that long, and helping Bruce be able to become my legal guardian until I was 18. I was told every now and again we would have visits or have to visit a court if we wanted anything changed in the future.
Anyways that was what me and Alfred were doing today, everyone had agreed that it would be better for me to do online classes instead of going in person.
1. Because of Dick's double life after the last bell would ring.
2. Alfred could at least be the one person to keep an eye on me throughout the day.
The good thing was I was still able to visit and hang out with the others when they weren't busy or dealing with personal lives themselves.
"Mister Zane, there is something I would like to show you," I was sitting in the Living Room on the floor flicking through channels trying to find something to watch since I just figured out Bruce's overcomplicated T.V.
"While Master Bruce was away on business he asked if I could help assist with your family problem, and I believe I found more information." He walks further into the room to place the laptop he carried in on the coffee table before kneeling on the floor next to me.
"What is it?" I ask after a moment of trying to consume what he wanted me to see, but I didn't understand it.
"Earlier today it was reported that your adopted brother had officially gone missing, like what Master Bruce suspected. When police went to confront your parents they found nothing but your Mothers body, however your Father was gone, after investigating it seems that he all but vanished into thin air. They are trying to find him now."
"What do you think happened? Were they caught faking my death?" I questioned, I wanted to scroll further down the page to see if I could see anything else, but Alfred stopped me and turned me further to face him to talk.
"Don't, I only share with you the bare minimum of this case. Your parents don't deserve your worry or pity," Al closed the laptop and stood to pick up. " Master Bruce should be back by the end of the week, and Young Master Dick should be back by nightfall, as you were then." He then just turns and leaves me looking at the floor thinking of what to do next.

The instant Dick walked through the door I wasted no time bolting up from the sofa from my comfortable spot.
I didn't think that he would be walking down the hall, so the moment I turned the corner in the hallway to the front door I crashed right into him.
We were only on the ground for a split second when I quickly stood back up.
"Whoa, calm down! Where are you speeding off to?" He questions, pulling himself off the floor and grabbing his school bag that fell with him.
"Sorry! I just wanted to ask you something and didn't want to wait in case you were busy again." I started to ramble but Dick put his hands up to tell me to slow down. I took a deep breath before continuing to speak.
"I want your help finding out who told my parents to do what they did!"
'After Alfred and Bruce told me everything my parents had done, while it did answer some questions, it mainly formed new ones. The biggest and only one that mattered to me now was who actually wanted me gone and behind my Mother's death and Dads disappearance... Then I could finally be done with this all for good...'
"Huh?" Was first thing he could say after a while. "Why, wasn't this just about learning more about your past? Not to mention there is still stuff from Cadmus that Guardian hasn't found yet, your still at risk here."
"Just take a moment to breathe and relax a bit. We have time to find answers, let's just go in order and wait to see what Guardian could dig up. B comes back at the end of the week, he should have something by then."
His words made me calm down a bit and I agreed with him. We had found the file a while ago about what Cadmus had done to me but no full answers or how to fix it. Not even Connor had full answers from there yet either about who he truly is.
'I just have to be patient.'
"Say," Dick says, drawing my attention back to him and out of my thoughts. " I'm home the rest of the week since Bruce doesn't trust me to patrol by myself yet."
"Meaning?"
"Meaning we get to cause as much chaos as possible before Alfred catches on and whoops our butt!" We both laugh before walking further into the house and Dick drops his bag on the floor in the Living Room.
"I'll be back! I gotta get out of these clothes." He exclaimed, pulling on the collar of shirt and disappearing up the stairs.
"Heh," I laugh to myself before letting out an exhausted sigh. "One step at a time."
With that, I flop back onto the sofa and got comfortable again.
