Wei Ying's POV
Time flies by when you have people beside you, I really wouldn't know where I would been if the Lan's hadn't taken me in, maybe in the Jiang clan? I honestly wonder sometimes, but right now, me and Lan Zhan are 16 years old. Right now am practicing my sword movement because my uncle said it doesn't look as elegant maybe because I also learned Jiang's attack movements theirs is not as elegant but it's still pretty strong, but sadly it also intervene with the Lan sword movements I learned, but eh it is what it is.
Just then Lan Zhan came in when I was training "Wei Ying?"
"Hm? Oh Lan Zhan, what is happening?"
"Oh well nothing really, I was just wondering what were you doing right now"
"Well right now am just practicing the Lan sword sect movement, since Uncle said is not as elegant as it is supposed to be for my age"
"Am sure it can't be as awful as Uncle says it is"
"I learned both of the Lan and Jiang Sect movements, since like I can't fully do one without slipping up so"
"Oh by the way, the Jin Sect is coming by today, Shufu asked us if we could show Jin Zixuan around the Cloud Recesses"
I really wanted to kill myself at that moment Lan Zhan knows how much I hate the eldest son of the Jin Sect considering how he treated my senior sister, I can't say anything out loud about how much I have a hatred for that asshole considering is one of the Lan Sect rules not to talk bad about someone behind their back, but that doesn't mean I can't say it my thoughts.
"Oh is that so?" Wei Ying said in a slightly annoyed tone.
"Wei Ying I know you don't get along with him that well considering the way he treated Jiang Yanli, but try not to think in an ill way towards him"
Lan Zhan knew well what Wei Ying thought of Jin Zixuan, even though he may not say it out loud, not like is allowed to, but I knew Wei Ying didn't like Jin Zixuan, since Wei Ying went to Lotus Pier quite often he had more free will there than he does here so sometimes Wei Ying tends to forget the rules here sometimes.
"I can try, but only because you asked me to" Wei Ying said still slightly annoyed
At Night
Lan Zhan had already fallen asleep considering the way it was instructed that all Lan's were to fall asleep at 9 pm and wake up and 5 am, but I never really followed and understood the rule, I kind of just relaxed until I fell asleep, it is kind of the reason I miss Lotus Pier we can stay up as late as we want as long as we don't miss training. Staring at the roof for hours on end isn't the most entertaining thing right now considering that I can't turn the light on. Lan Zhan like he was born and raised here for his entire life he follows the rules he is told he can barely stay up a few minutes after 9 pm, 30 minutes is the record but that record will probably never be beaten ever again.
Me and Lan Zhan have learned a bit more information about the crystals in our bodies after years of searching through many different libraries. The crystal's origins are unknown but what is known about them is that many centuries ago not even the Sects existed back then, the old people of China used ir for their energy and power, but the paper was ripped off after that so all that is left is that information. Some obvious factors though is that when both crystal pieces are together they are stronger than any other sect magic that exists currently. Enough of that is time to rest and pray I don't smack Jin Zixuan's face tomorrow.
