"I don't know if I can do this..." Cameron looked down.

"Well, I know you can. She's not as scary as you're making her out to be." I said.

"But..." he tried.

"No. No 'but's. You have me here, and I'm going to help you. Hmm. Let's try this. We'll role-play. I'll be Kellie, you be yourself. Okay?"

He nodded. "Okay. I can do that."

I smiled. "Okay. Good." I walked away a bit, put my hair up in a ponytail, turned around and came back up to him.

"Hi! I'm Kellie!" I said, using my best Kellie impression.

A smile formed on his lips. "Hi, I'm Cameron."

We hugged, then I looked at him to say something. He did nothing.

I faceplamed. "How about asking me how I am?" I whispered.

"Oh! Yeah." He cleared his throat. "How are you on this fine day?"

I did a Kellie giggle. "I'm great! How are you?"

"I'm great too!"

"Good. How's tour been?"

"Pretty crazy, but I love it."

I smiled. "That's awesome. I love seeing you onstage all happy."

He smiled and we had a pretty good system going.

It was getting late, and Zack, their tour manager came out to get Cameron.

"Show time, buddy!" he called.

Cameron nodded and we started walking backstage.

"Who's this?" Zack pointed to me.

"She's our newest guest, friend, and love-life helper." Cameron smiled.

Zack raised his eyebrows. "Do I even wanna know?"

I shook my head. "Probably not. I'm helping him with his girl issues."

He nodded. "Say no more. Come on back, we could use an extra hand tonight."

I followed Cameron and Zack into the greenroom and sat down on the couch.

"So, how'd I do?" Cameron asked.

"You did great. Now if you just act that way with her in person, everything will be fine." I assured him.

He tapped his foot nervously. "I hope so."

Just then Zack signaled the guys to start walking onstage.

Dillon and Brent walked out first. Mikey gave me a smirk and then walked out.

Cameron gave me a quick hug, grabbed his bass and ran out like an excited bunny.

Zach paced around a bit, started walking out, turned around and kissed me, then ran out and started belting out the lyrics to "The Last Time".

I almost fell over backwards, but the gesture was appreciated.

Just then my phone went off.

From: Kellie

Hey girl! How's it going?

To: Kellie

Great! The guys just went out to perform.

From: Kellie

Awesome! Let me know how the show goes!

To: Kellie

I will!!!

I put my phone away and watched the guys sing, dance, and do their awkward banter in between songs.

They are such trips, honestly.
