Part 1 out of 2, Flashback
Y/N's POV
"Ohh, I'm so excited!" I eagerly say, putting on baggy jeans and a short-sleeve shirt.
"Ready to go honey?" My mom asks.
"Yes!" I jump up and down in the car.
"It seems so exciting meeting the greens.. What are they like? What clothes do they wear? Where do they live? How-" Mom got cut off by me.
"Mom, relax, we'll be fine. We're just heading to the mall, nothing bad will happen!" I reassured my mom.
No One's POV
That was.. until a terrible accident happened during the mall, people screaming, thousands calling 911, security guards protecting the young 10-year old.
At The Mall (Flashback)
"Heyyy, Y/N! Glad you could make it! Everyone's waiting, so you should come meet my family!" Cricket says.
"Oh it'd be an honor!" My mom says, clasping her hands together.
"This my dad, my mom, Tilly, and my grandmama!" Cricket presents.
"It's nice to meet you guys!" My mom shakes everyone's hands.
"Now, should we head through the mall?" Bill said.
15 Minutes Later
"Everyone! Come look at this award!" Bill says, gathering Y/N's mom, Alice, Tilly, Nancy, and lastly, Cricket. Everyone but Y/N, she really wasn't in the mood.
"Hey, Y/N, you coming?" Cricket asks.
"Nah, I'll stay here, you guys go look." I said, bored.
"Okay, whatever ya say!" Cricket runs to see the award.
Y/N could hear both families dying and laughing about the award. "Ugh," Looks through the glass window, below the mall rail.
"Hey.." My boredom flies away. "It would actually look pretty nice down there!" I have a very enthusiastic smile on my face.
"Aw, dang it." My smile fades away, looking up at the rail.
"There's no way I could see the view! Unless.."
(Reminder: Y/N is just as mischievous as Cricket is, that's why when they first met eyes, they both knew they were destined to be best friends.. maybe even more..🥴)
I climb up to the rail. "Wow, the view looks amazing from here! I gasped.
"But.. I should probably get down before I- WOAHHH! CRICKETTT!" I fall off the rail, yelling for Crickets help.
"Hm? Did someone call my name? Eh, probably a ghost." Cricket goes back into being in the grasp of the award.
"AHHH!!! OH MY GOSH, A KID IS DEAD!!" People yell and scream. Others calling for 911 and for assistance.
"Hm? What's all that ruckus going on down there?" Bill says, looking away from the trophy.
"Eh, probably just someone overreacting." Nancy shrugs.
"Let me have a look.." Bill walks over to the rail where Y/N fell.
"O-OHHH NO!" Bill gasps, stumbling backwards.
His Mind: "Oh god.. Crickets best friend? Dead? Oh no.. this is bad. NO! What matters is finding out if Y/N's okay."
"Bill? What's wrong? What'd you see?" Nancy said, walking over to Bill, the screams and yells getting louder when she walked closer.
Bill whispered in her ear. "OH MY GOD! I hope she's okay.."
Nancy walks over to everyone else, still stumbling over at the award.
"Hey, everyone.." Nancy said, calmly.
"Cricket, this will sound very sad, and trust me, we'll go to the hospital right after." Nancy said.
"We don't know for sure what happened but, your friend, Y/N, she's in bad condition.."
Nancy sadly but calmly says.
"W-What do you mean?" Crickets eyes growing a bit wide.
"Um, so-" Nancy gets cut off by panicking Bill.
"Y/N's DEAD!!" Bill sobs.
"W-WHAT?" Cricket's eyes growing completely wide.
"What?! No, that's not what he-" Nancy got cut off by my mom.
"SORRY, WHAT? I'M GOING TO THE HOSPITAL!" Y/N's mom yelled, running off to drive to the hospital.
"C'MON DAD, LETS GO!" Cricket yelled, tears stinging in his eyes as he ran to their Kludge.
Part 2 out of 2, Hospital Day
At The Hospital
Cricket trembles slightly in his dad's arms. Nancy holding a worried Tilly, and Alice trying to process everything. While Y/N's mom, walked back and forth in the waiting room, biting her nails, concerned on what happened to her precious baby girl.
The doctor looks at his clipboard.
"The mother, and best friend of Y/N.. you may come in." The doctor says, looking up at the family.
"OH, MY BABY!" Y/N's mom runs into the room her little girl is in. Cricket uses all his energy and strength, running to see Y/N once and for all.
"Y/N!" The mother and best friend of Y/N in collision both say.
"M-Mom..! C-Cricket..!" I gasp excitedly.
"Oh, my poor baby! What happened?" Y/N's mom rubs Y/N's cheek softly and gently, while Cricket, hugs his best friend tightly but not too tight. While Y/N pats Crickets head, (Which he loves in this AU.) meanwhile talking to her mom.
"You fell off a mall rail?!" Y/N's mom gasps in shock.
"Wait what?" Cricket loosens his grip on the hug a bit, confused and worried. Cricket looks up at Y/N.
"I need to go to the bathroom, one moment sweetie!" Y/N's mom excuses herself from the room.
"Y/N.. what did you do?" Cricket loosens his grip on the hug completely, sitting on Y/N's hospital bed, positioned like an animal, completely pinning Y/N to the hospital bed.
"What? What do you mean? It was accidental!" I gave a confused but a tiny bit of angriness.
