Taehyung and Jae return home in the evening and notice Jungkook sitting on the couch already.
"Ahhhh Jungkook, it was tiring the whole day, and how was your interview?"
"It went really well. I am joining next week."
"Wow, congratulations."
Jae shouts and wishes him while hugging him tightly. Jungkook smiles too. Taehyung comes close and stretches his hand towards Jungkook.
"Congrats, Jungkook."
Jungkook holds his hand and then his eyes fall on Taehyung's shirt. His necklace is again spreading slight rays. Taehyung removes his hand from Jungkook's hand as he feels a sudden slight stingy pain on his chest. He sits down on the couch and looks at Jungkook.
"Are you okay?"
Jungkook tries to touch him near shoulder but he moves back in a manner to avoid Jungkook's touch.
Jungkook notices it and moves back. A pair of teary eyes is still on him but he is unable to do anything. He's unable to understand what's wrong. Everyone is shocked; including Jungkook but Mrs. Jeon looks worried as if she knows something.

"Jungkook got the job. I think it's time to fix his wedding. At this age, he’s mateless and it’s time for him to get married.” Mrs. Jeon says to his husband.
“But why so hurry? He just got the job. Let him settle down first.” Mr. Jeon says.
“With the right one, he’ll grow with prosperity and success.”
“Yeah, that’s true though. What do you think about Sarah, the youngest omega daughter of the Lee family? Jungkook and Sarah are friends too, so it will be easy for both of them to start a new life together.”
“Great! Send them the proposal but let me talk to Jungkook first as it’s his marriage after all.”

“Mom, we are friends, indeed. But marrying her? I don’t even know her that well.” Jungkook exclaims.
After hearing all these, he’s trying to comprehend each and every situation in his life. To be honest, he’s not ready mentally to marry right now. Something is distracting his life from his own simple tract. He looks up to the other side of the hallway. Jae and Taehyung were laughing hard while watching some movie.
Taehyung’s smile is something else. You’re a mystery to me, Tae. Why do I feel a strange thing near my chest whenever I see the blue rays coming from the neckpiece? I have to know everything in between all these distractions. But how? I can't ask mom.
“I am not insisting that you get married right now! Just meet her family, get to know each other, and then you both can decide what to do and what not to, okay?” Jungkook comes out of his thought hearing his mother still trying to convince him.
Jungkook nods and gives a smile to his mother.

It’s been more than a month Jae is working in the office being Jhope’s assistant. Each and every day is equally stressful for her. She has to prove her every single minute. She’s skillfully managing each and everything, though her boss is quite unchangeable towards her and she’s slowly accepting everything.
“Miss. Jeon, please give me details regarding next week’s business trip to Pohang and also be prepared for the trip. You are going to present all the ppts and proposals as well. We have only five days left.”
"But Sir, you already know all my family issues. I am working here without my parents permission. They will lock me up in my room if they know little about my job. Please do underts-"
Jhope cuts whatever Jae was trying to say, "I offered you this job under only one condition and that was you have to prove yourself here." Jhope comes closer and whispers, "but I am not getting anything to make myself believe that you're capable for this job Miss. Jeon."
"S-sir, I am trying every single moment just to prove myself. I can't complete all my jobs properly here in time, so I do complete all of them considering my sleeping schedule.I am telling lies to my parents everyday so that I can contribute my studies, my knowledges in the society, I make my way here in your office before you and arrange every single necessity of yours so that you can't complain! And now look at me, crying helplessly just because you can't see my efforts."
Jae wipes her tears and steps back from Jhope. She takes out her job id card and throws it towards him. She runs out without looking back.
Everything was so sudden that it shocked Jhope. He collects the id card from the floor and gently wipes it on his shirt.
I was just testing her! But she left. Ahhh she said a lot. How to make it up?
Jhope sits on his couch and takes out his phone.
"Hello, Jin hyung, can you please send Taehyung to my office? It's urgent. Yeah? Thank you hyung."
After a while, a knock can be heard and Taehyung peeps in. "Good afternoon hyung. Everything alright!?"
"Taehyung? You had your lunch? Have a seat please."
Taehyung smilingly occupies a seat beside Jhope.
"Miss. Jeon left the job."
Taehyung almost jumps in shock,
"What? Why?"
"It’s my fault. I was so harsh on her from day one. I wanted to make it my way when I already knew about her family. Blame it on my rank ego? I was working on the basis of someone else who's lower than my rank? Maybe I was wrong. Tell her to join. I will move her post from any other department. She would never face me. I am punishing myself for being such a jerk."
"Hyung? Your apology must be said to her by yourself. I am not going to make it up for you in any way. I can plan a meeting for you two maximum. Rest of the things you have to manage."
Jhope looks at him blankly and nods whatever Taehyung said.
"Okay today at 7 pm, Geumho Cafe, be there."
Taehyung rushes out from his office and heads towards home. Jae is sitting on the couch with Jungkook and is playing a video game.
"How selfish! I am doing my job and you two are playing without me? Jae, I didn’t expect all these from you, at least you could have told me once!"
Jae realizes what Taehyung is actually trying to say. And now look at Jungkook!
He's scratching his coconut head not understanding what's actually going on. He has never seen this Taehyung before, whiny and his puppy eyes, OML.
"You have to make it up, Jae. You have to treat me fried chicken and strawberry milkshakes today." Now he looks up towards Jungkook, "and you, you're part of this too. Be ready before 7."
Taehyung starts loosening his tie and walks away.
