I walked into my room around 5am and just froze, I could hear voices whispering all around me and my body began to burn. The pain started in my fingertips then slowly spread up my arms and into my chest, from my chest the burning spread down to my stomach, then to my legs and into my toes. Last to catch fire was my head which almost sent me crashing to the floor, my head felt as if someone lit fire to it then to make it even worse they started slowly drilling a hole into the side of my skull.
The whispering now began to grow louder as I shook with pain. It got louder and louder until I realized the whispers weren't actually saying anything, it was laughter. The disembodied laughter barely sounded like laughter at all, it was unclear and distant like they were in a tunnel yet loud at the same time, so loud it shook the entire room. It almost sounded more like a deep, loud, growl instead of laughter, but the higher hicks in it made me lean more towards the laughter side of things.

" What is going on?" I thought to myself, "What's happening?"
Then a loud bang erupted from the far corner of the room. I opened my eyes to see what it was and to my surprise everything was tinted red. I slowly and painfully pushed myself up into a sitting position, I then reached up and wiped my left eye. I felt a warm liquid slowly trickle down my hand so I quickly pulled away to find my hand was soaked in blood. I looked back to the corner to see nothing there.
I let out a shriek as the burning got worse, involuntarily my upper half fell back onto the floor, I began convulsing from the violent pain tearing through my body. Flesh began falling from my arms and legs revealing muscle and bone. A dark red pool of blood surrounded my body on the floor as I continued the convulsing.
"Why do such horrible things happen during the night?" I whispered as I watched another piece of flesh fall from my right arm.
The laughter was so loud that my eardrums broke and a stream of blood trickled down the side of my face. I shut my eyes wishing it would all just be over, when I opened them back up all I could see is red. I began to feel pressure coming from within my body.
" Where's the daylight?" I whispered as....
