And so, Harry and Guava Ice found themselves staying in a cozy hotel room together after a long day of traveling. It was a place of comfort for them both and it was a relief to finally be able to relax. Guava Ice made sure to pack plenty of snacks and they spent the night laughing, talking, and bonding over stories from their pasts. They enjoyed each other's company and as they drifted off to sleep, they made a promise to themselves that they would never forget this night together. Their sleep is sweet and peaceful, but they soon awaken to the sound of footsteps outside their door. Alarmed, Harry and Guava Ice tiptoe to the window to see who's there. To their surprise, it's a group of armed men, who begin pounding on the door and demanding they open up.
"Who are you?" Guava Ice asks, her voice trembling. "What do you want from us?"

They don't answer, and the pounding continues. Harry and Guava Ice hold each other tight, not knowing what to do next. Just then, the knocking stops. Harry and Guava Ice exchange a look of confusion.
Silence fills the room, and they begin to wonder if their nightmare is over. But then, louder than before, the knocking resumes with a vengeance. Harry and Guava Ice are terrified, and their hearts are pounding so hard they can barely hear anything else.
"We're not going to hurt you," one of the men yells through the door, "we just want to talk."
But Harry and Guava Ice aren't convinced, and they stay put, holding each other as the knocking continues.
Finally, the knocking stops again, and they hear the voices of the men drifting away. Harry and Guava Ice sneak over to the door and open it a crack, relieved to see it was true. But suddenly, one of the men appears from the shadows, pointing a gun at them. "What are you doing here?" he growls.
"We're just travelers," Guava Ice murmurs, her hands shaking.
"Don't lie to me," the man says, taking a step closer. The tension in the room reaches fever pitch, and Harry and Guava Ice hold each other tighter.

"Please," Guava Ice begs, "we mean no harm. We just want to stay the night and be on our way in the morning."
The man glowers at them, unsure what to do. Suddenly, he turns and walks away, leaving them alone in the room. They hear the men talking outside, discussing what to do next. Guava Ice looks at Harry with fear in her eyes.
"What are we going to do?" she whispers, tears streaming down her cheeks. Harry takes her hand and squeezes it reassuringly. "Shhhh," he murmurs, "everything is going to be okay. Let's wait here until we're sure they're gone, and then we'll figure out our next move."
They stay silent and still for what seems like hours, until finally, all is still. Guava Ice peeks out the window, and sees that the men have disappeared. With a sigh of relief, she turns to Harry.

"I think it's safe now," she says quietly.
Harry nods, and they hurry to the door. Together, they creep out into the hallway, making sure to keep their voices down. As they make their way to the stairs, they stop to listen for any signs of movement. The coast is clear, and they let out a sigh of relief.
They quietly make their way toward the front door, every step sounding like a thunderous bellow in the silence. Finally, they reach their destination and slip out, determined to put this ordeal behind them.

As they get outside, they breathe a sigh of relief and look back at the dark motel, glad they're finally free. They start to walk away when they hear loud voices approaching. Looking up, they see the same group of armed men, marching toward them with purpose.
"We just want to talk," the man from earlier calls out. "We don't mean you any harm. Just come with us, and we can..."
"Leave us alone!" Harry yells back, taking Guava Ice's hand and starting to run.
The men start to give chase, their footsteps thundering behind them. Harry and Guava Ice dash as fast as they can, but the men are gaining on them.

"Come on!" Harry yells to Guava Ice, pulling her along faster.
Just as the men are about to reach them, Harry and Guava Ice dive into an alleyway and manage to shake them off. As they catch their breath, they glance at each other with relief, then quickly make their way back to the street, determined to put as much distance as possible between them and their pursuers.
As they walk back towards the town, they stop at a nearby restaurant to get some food and drink. As they sit down, they look around the cozy establishment, glad to be away from the danger they just experienced.
They stay at the restaurant for a few hours, chatting and eating. But soon, the owner of the restaurant approaches them with a grim look on his face.
"You two are new strangers in town, yes?" he asks. Harry and Guava Ice nod hesitantly, and he continues, "there's something you need to know."

"There's been a lot of trouble lately with a gang of armed men roaming the streets," the owner goes on, his face now filled with concern. "They've been causing trouble for everyone, including us."
Suddenly, something clicks in Harry's mind, and his eyes go wide with realization. "Are you talking about the men who just tried to capture us?" he asks. "The ones who wanted to talk to us?"
The owner nods, and Harry exchanges a concerned look with Guava Ice, who is also starting to catch on."What if they come back here and try to capture us again?" Guava Ice whispers, her voice filled with dread.
"Don't worry," the owner says, reassuringly. "We have a plan in place to deal with them. But I think it's best if you two stay here for now, and stay hidden."
Harry and Guava Ice exchange another look, and nod in agreement. The owner gives them a reassuring smile, and leaves them alone in the restaurant.
