| Chapter 6|

The days passed and Minnie continued to visit Miyeon during breaks or at the end of her shift, continuing to help her bathe and give her the usual massages for her muscles.

Now everything was more embarrassing, Miyeon was awake and ashamed of being naked in front of Minnie, but she appreciated the seriousness of the girl and her delicacy.

Nicha was kind and delicate, she didn't stop to look or judge, she was perfect.

Miyeon had started moving her arms again thanks to some exercises that Nicha made her do, leaving only her legs still paralyzed.

On sunny days, Minnie would help Miyeon sit in her wheelchair and take her out for a ride in the hospital garden.

The two had started to get to know each other better and Miyeon only confirmed the version of herself that Nicha had constructed in her head.

Miyeon began to appreciate Minnie's presence, waiting every day for the time when the Thai would come to visit her, reading, while waiting, the books that Nicha had bought for her.

The days passed and the day had finally come when Miyeon would begin her rehabilitation journey.

A nurse entered the brunette's room, checking her IV before removing it.

Nicha had left the room about twenty minutes ago and Miyeon was already missing her and the emptiness of the room. Minnie stayed with her every night and early in the morning, while Miyeon slept, she would leave to look after Haku and get settled, before going to work. As soon as she had a break or at lunchtime, Nicha would rush to Miyeon to spend time with her as she had done for the past three months, then return to work and wait until her shift was over to return to Miyeon and stay with her until the next morning.

"Miss Cho, today your rehabilitation journey begins. I'll help you sit in the wheelchair and later accompany you in the physiotherapy department on the ground floor." the woman said, before helping Miyeon move from the bed to the wheelchair.

Once on the ground floor, she was welcomed by a gym with specific equipment for each part of the body. At the entrance there was a small office, where there was a girl with her head hidden behind the screen.

"She is the doctor who will take care of your rehabilitation. Don't be afraid to tell her if something is wrong or if you have pain somewhere, she will help you, she is very competent." said the nurse. "I'll call her."

The woman entered the room to talk to the other doctor, while Miyeon looked at the tools, wondering which of them she would use.

After a few minutes, a familiar voice brought her back to reality, making her look towards the owner.

"So... Cho Miyeon, are you ready to start?" the woman asked.

Miyeon smiled widely, seeing Nicha in front of her wearing a blue coat.

"Min!" the brunette exclaimed, smiling at the Thai.

Minnie lowered herself to Miyeon's level, stroking her head, looking into her eyes.

"How do you feel today? Do you have pain in any part of your body?" Minnie asked, moving her hand to Miyeon's arm.

"No, I'm fine and I'm even better now." she said, making Nicha blush. "It makes me feel comfortable seeing a familiar face."

"I'm happy to have you as my patient." the Thai said, before getting up and driving the wheelchair in front of a medical bed. "Don't worry, today we won't do anything too stressful, we'll start with some simple exercises. I'll be there to guide you, so tell me if I hurt you or if you want to take a break, okay?"
