They all reached their destination after, what felt like a day. They wished they had enjoyed less and saved their energy for the trip but, every one of them lost their last ounce of their energy.
Oh yeah except for one person.
"Come on boys, let's get going. I've made the list of places to visit. We'll visit after our lunch" Rohit said as his eyes sparkled due to the excitement for the trip.
"Don't be such a loser Ro, We're here to explore. We can't go around as tourists. Let's roam around like this is our home." Virat obliges as he disagrees with Rohit as usual.
"No Virat bhai, Let's all eat and fresh up," Rahul says standing up after they all got off the bus.
"Moi, don't tell me you're tired. CHEER UP GUYS." Virat says as he tries to lift up the spirits. Rahul sighed equally disappointed, Rahul wanted to go sleep in the hotel room. Pretty much, rest of them wanted to do the same too.
"I might know exactly the thing" Jadeja whispers to Virat as he doesn't look convinced.
"Jaddu, we're not going to teach our juniors to drink during lunch. I hate your idea." Rohit says as he looks at Jadeja with his arms crossed over. Jadeja didn't have to tell him, He knew exactly what he was implying.
"That's a great idea, let's party. Come on Shreyas, Shubi, ISH,-"
"Virat No."
"Virat No." Rohit and Rahul's voices came in sync as they were the responsible ones of the group. All the others looked at those three with the most clueless pair of eyes.
Virat grinned mischievously, "Come on, Ro, Rahuliya, live a little! Let's show these kids how the seniors do it."
Rahul shook his head as a no and smiled playfully, " We're not here to drink during the day or any time. We are respected by the country, We have a reputation to hold. The kids in our country look at us like we're-"
"Stop it, Let Virat breathe for a while" Ritika warns and looks at Rohit sternly.
"Bubba, No. Later? Maybe at night?" Anushka speaks in a murmur to Virat. She felt like she was pacifying a two-year-old.
"Bhabi, it isn't nothing serious. Look at them, they'll be talking as if nothing happened in a few minutes" Sky says trying to stop the tension between the whole team.
"I know a really good dhaba here, it has the best chicken tandoori in Lonavala. Let's think about what to do later." Hardik added.
Rohit sighed in relief, "Good idea, Hardik. Let's focus on enjoying the trip for now, and we can figure out the rest later. Chicken tandoori sounds like a plan! Although I don't eat non-veg."
"It's okay, They have the best paneer too!" Siraj says.
The group, now in better spirits, followed Hardik to the recommended dhaba. The aroma of spices filled the air as they entered, and the sizzling sound of tandoori cooking added to the ambience.
The team settled into a large table, and the owner, recognizing the cricket stars, came over with a big smile. "Welcome, Team India! The best food is ready for you. It's an honour to have you here."
"We've all heard that this is the best dhaba around," Sky says as he strikes up a conversation with the owner. He always talked to everyone. He was super-social. That was one of the reasons Devisha was in love with him, He didn't let the fame get to him. He was always down to earth.
As they sat around a large table, Virat couldn't resist making one last attempt at mischief, "I say we order some lassi, at least. It's non-alcoholic and still fun!"
