"hey ariella do you mind if i ask you something?" athanasius began as he sat with a cup of lippe tea in front of him
ariella stopped what she was doing and said "of course not my prince! what is it that you are wanting to ask?" she smiled as she tilted her head
"what was my real mother truly like? i mean i've asked countless people but they all say the same thing." he said as he placed a hand on his cheek
"and i know you've always stuck by her side." he said smiling softly
ariella giggled "so that's what you've been thinking about these past few days? well have you asked his majesty?" she asked him
athanasius nodded "i can't dare to ask father what she was like." he shuddered
ariella nodded slowly before walking over to the chair beside the white haired boy and placed her hands in her lap.
"so you'd like a story? is that what you want prince a story about lady eira?" she smiled as she asked
athanasius nodded "it just feels like i don't know much about her at all to begin with sometimes it feels like she's just a stranger who gave birth to me."
athanasius froze for a minute before he bit his lip with a nervous smile before turning away.

"i see prince.." ariella said with a sad tone
"but please do tell me about my mother ariella." athanasius said
"you're my last hope in finding out about who she truly was."
the books aren't helpful either ariella. i know you're thinking that already they just mention that she was an empress who left an everlasting impression on everyone like mother diana and never fail to mention how beautiful she was
"very well then i'll tell you prince but there is a lot so please be prepared!" ariella laughed nervously as the wind blew through her hair
athanasius straightened his posture and nodded as his eyes sparkled ready to hear the story of his mother.

"i was born in lady eira's estate. my mother was a working maid there and had me in her home." ariella began as she fiddled with her fingers
"and then two weeks later after i was born lady eira was born too." she smiled
"so me and her were always together since lady eira's mother and my mother were close it felt like we were sisters." ariella giggled as athanasius tilted his head in confusion
"but once i was able to learn that me and lady eira are born of different statuses and i wasn't important like she was i thought that'd mean she'd treat me differently."
"but instead she'd hugged me with a smile and said 'that doesn't change the fact that you'll always still be my bestest friend and my sister.' and we both cried that day we laughed as well" ariella smiled remembering
athanasius nodded "so mother was like that.." he mumbled loud enough for ariella to hear
she nodded and continued "then once lady eira was then coming of age her father was urgent to get her married." she sighed
