Matt was getting ready to drive to school with Chris on a rainy Monday morning, until Chris gets a text.

Vicky 🤍 hey can u & matt pick me up?? I missed the bus :/

"Uh hey Matt" Chris says a little nervously.
"Wassup" says Matt wondering what Chris has to say.
"Uhm, can we pick up Vic today??" Chris says while Matt sighs. "Oh come on! She's my girlfriend and she missed the bus"
"Ughhhhh fine" Matt says rolling his eyes.

Matt didn't like when Chris asked to pick up Vic last minute, because they always arrive late to school.
Matt starts to pull up to Vic's house. He sees Vic standing under a part of the roof with her waterproof jacket on.
She runs to the car, getting soaked in the process.
"Hey sorry I'm making you guys late" Vic said as she got in the car. Chris smiled at her.
"Yeah yeah whatever it's fine i don't care" Matt says as he starts to drive the car. Matt has always had a love-hate relationship with Vic.
They arrive to school and try their best to sneak past the office. Matt and Vic had the same class, music, while Chris had English.
Matt and Vic headed up to Music as Chris went a separate way to English.
"See u later Vicky" Chris says to Vic as they share a small kiss.
Going up the stairs was awkward with just Matt and Vic. Matt wanted to start a conversation to kill the awkwardness, but nothing came to his mind.
Matt opens the door to the music classroom as Vic followed behind him.
"Sorry we're late Mr. Mason" Vic said as she heads to her seat. Matt just says quiet with his head down.
"It's ok just try not to be late next time" Mr. Mason says as he continues his sentence.
"Anyways, today we will be using guitars" Mr. Mason says as he grabs a guitar leaning on the wall next to him. "And we will be needing to get into pairs"
Matt and Vic both get annoyed at the word, 'pairs'. They both knew barely anyone in the class they were in, except each other.
Matt and Vic watched everyone stand up and get into partners, until it was only them left.
"Alright is everyone in their pairs?" Mr. Mason says to the class as he looks around the room.
"Matthew and Victoria" Mr. Mason says looking at both of them. "I guess you're partners!" Matt sighs.
He goes over to Victoria and sits down next to her.
"So, now that everyone has a partner, name yourselves 1, and 2" Mr. Mason says as Matt and Vic look at each other.
"I'm 1" Vic says to Matt the second the teacher was done speaking.
"What no I'm 1" replies Matt.
"No way YOURE 1, I'm clearly 1" Vic says as she stares at him.
"No, I'm better at guitar than u. So I'm 1" Matt tries to defend himself.
"Ughhh fine, I'll be 2" Vic says annoyed.
The teacher starts handling out one guitar per pair.
"Person 1, pick up the guitar and follow pages 18 to 22 of ur music textbook." Says Mr. Mason.
Matt gets up from his desk to grab a music textbook from Mr. Masons desk.
He gets back to his desk a flicks to page 18 and starts going over the guitar notes.
He picks up the guitar and starts following the instructions on the page.
Matts amazing at guitar, and Vic noticed.
*hes so good at guitar* thought Vic as Matt nails all the guitar notes.
A couple minutes go by and Matt has finished all 4 pages easily.
"This is easy, gimme something harder" Matt says closing the textbook.
"What r u doing" I ask curiously.
"Im gunna free style" Matt answers putting his fingers on parts of the guitar.
*woah how can he just do that* Vic thinks to herself as she looks down at Matt strumming the guitar.
About 20 minutes later Mr. Mason spoke up.
"Alright! Now person 1, pass the guitar to person 2 and help them" said Mr. Mason as people start to pass their guitars.
Matt hands Vic the guitar annoyed. He always feels like himself in music, like he can show off his talent of playing guitar.
Meanwhile Vic hates guitar. She finds it incredibly difficult. She only wanted to be person 1 so Matt wouldn't get his way.
Matt looks at Vic as she holds the guitar wrong.
"Wait, you hold it like this" Matt says as he reaches to fix the position of the guitar Vic is holding.
"Thanks" Vic says as she comfortably holds the guitar.
Vic tries her best to follow the music textbook but most of the time she gets it wrong.
"Ugh" Vic says frustrated since she can't figure out how to use it properly.
"Wait here lemme show you" Matt says as he takes the guitar off Vic to show her what to do.
Matt demonstrated how the notes are ment to be played and hands it back to Vic.
Vic starts to get the first couple bars correct, but struggles on the rest.
"No no no, look" Matt says as he gets Vic's fingers and places them into the correct positions.
Vic side eyes him.
"Don't touch me like that" Vic says looking up at him.
"Jeez I'm just trying to help" Matt replies annoyed.
There was 10 minutes left of the class and Matt was just helping Vic with playing the guitar.
The bell rings and everyone starts heading to their next class.
