It was a warm, breezy summer day in a small, old-fashioned town. As the children of the town played outside in the streets, they happened to pass by two little children who looked to be around the age of six or seven. These two children, a boy and a girl, had been best friends since as far back as they could remember. As they looked at each other, they realized that something was changing within them, something that they had never felt before. A feeling of love and affection, and the want to be near each other as much as possible.

As the two children were growing up, they continued to remain close friends and spend time together. Over time, their friendship grew even closer as they began to share intimate moments together, like holding hands, hugging each other and sitting close to each other. Their feelings for one another began to intensify as the years went on, but they knew they couldn't be together due to the societal norms of their time. "We... we... we...", they stuttered, trying to explain themselves. But before they could get another word out, they were interrupted.

The boy and girl were both stunned into silence as their parents questioned them about their relationship. They had been caught red-handed and had no other choice but to admit their love for each other. Their parents were furious, and their hearts sank as they were scolded and punished for their actions.
