"Never be afraid to shine, little star." He tucked in his daughter, turning on her nightlight.
"Never be afraid to shine, little star." She giggled, she felt she was now too old for this, and he began laughing too.
"Never be afraid to shine, little star!" He shouted out at his daughter on the soccer field, gazing proudly at her.
"Never be afraid to shine, little star...!" He spoke reassuringly before he entered the hospital room.
"Never be afraid to shine, little star." He choked out, it had now become difficult to talk.
"Never be afraid to shine, little star." He slowly breathed out, his final words.
