"Look at Us Now (Honeycomb)" by The Six featuring Daisy Jones became a hit. The first time Eddie, Graham and Warren heard the song was when they left a diner and a car had the song playing - KHJ radio station was running their song. Karen helped pay for a girl's record after hearing the record she wanted was The Six with bonus content being their new song with Daisy Jones. Daisy on the other hand first heard the song in public at her diner job.
Everyone was loving the song - everyone but Billy who hated all the changes Daisy had made to his song. Which is why when Camila is listening to the song on the radio he shuts it off making her tease him for being such a baby about having a number one single.
"Smells good in here. Mmm." Graham enters the kitchen and takes a strip of bacon from the stove
"Uh-uh. You can wait." Camila tells her brother in law as she finishes plating hers and Billy's breakfast plate
"Save some for the rest of us." Warren walks into the kitchen wearing only overalls picking at a piece of egg on the plate Camila carried
"Hey, hey."
Bite of food in mouth Warren mumbles, "Oh, there we go."
"They live in the back house." Graham speaks with a mouth full of food as Karen and Eddie walk into the kitchen "So that Camila doesn't have to feed you vultures."
"When's the last time anyone went through the mail?" Karen asks looking down at the stack of envelopes in her hand
"I thought that was your job." Warren speaks up form his seat on the counter
"My job?" Karen asks eyebrow raised
"Also, that pile of stuff in the sink is getting pretty big." Warren jokes
Karen throws at him a few envelopes making him jump off the counter laughing, "Hey."
"Just wait till Lata hears about this" Karen threatens him which works to shut him up. The last time his joke was misogynistic based Lata looked at him and ignored him for as long as she could before then not talking to him for a whole week while he came up with new ways each day to apologize
Luckily this time around Lata wasn't in the room she was taking advantage of the empty upstairs bathroom.
"Uh, guys..." Karen starts to smile brightly in her seat
Sitting next to her Graham asks, "What?"
"Does anyone know what these are?" Karen asks with a smile raising a few envelopes that all looked the same
At the sight of what they thought the envelopes were, they all hurry to find the envelope that had their name and open them. Food was all forgotten once the envelopes were open and they could see the check
