The sight was so incredible, that I almost fainted from amazement. I couldn't believe that it actually worked.

The back wall of the closet was replaced by the sight of a dark sky above us. After taking a closer look, we could see millions of stars and even some planets in the distance.

As our eyes moved from the sky to the view below, we noticed some incredibly huge walls. The thing is, the walls were curved and bent in different angles, which could only mean one thing. This could very quite possibly be...

"The Maze. No way, we actually found it." I said.

"Whoa." Olivia gasped at the beautiful view.

"Well, what are we waiting for?! Let's go!!" Cassidy, who has been quiet the whole time suddenly exclaimed in excitement as she darted towards the steps.

Olivia, however, had to pull her back.

"Wait, what are you doing?"

"Oh, I don't know." Olivia said sarcastically as she threw her hands up. "Making sure you don't run off into the maze. Making sure you don't run into whatever awaits us down there. Making sure you don't disappear. Besides, this could be dangerous."

This convinced Cassidy to take a step back. "Okay." She said quietly.

"We need to come up with a plan. How are we gonna do this?" Nick asked.

The group looked at the scene in front of them as they began to think of a plan.

Everyone stood there for a good while as they thought of a plan. I, on other hand, had other thoughts on my mind. I looked over the scene carefully and slowly looked down.

"You know." I started. "When you look at it from here, it doesn't seem that difficult. I got it, I have a plan."

Olivia rolled her eyes. "Zayne, I know what you're thinking, but no, we can't simply just walk through this thing."

"But why?" I asked her, feeling genuinely confused.

"That's because we don't know what's down there. Sure, when you look at it from afar, it looks fairly straightforward. But the truth is, it might not be. We don't know what we could possibly run into. Sometimes, things are not always what they seem to be." Olivia explained to me.

I started to understand that a bit more. At the same time, I couldn't help but give my input.

"Oh come on, I know you got that last part from Socrates, but I still feel like we could handle this. I propose that we make our way down the steps, walk into the thing, and go from there. I don't know about you, but I'll go on ahead." I said with an amount of confidence in my voice. I looked at the steps and started to make my way down.

As I walked down the steps, I looked back to see if the others were following me. So far, they stood where they were. Olivia looked especially nervous.

"Well, are you guys coming? Come on, what could happen?" I said in an attempt to lighten the mood.

"With us, anything." Olivia replied bluntly. With that, they followed after me.
