Stray kids brothers

Everyday routine

Ju Won had been a single dad for almost ten years. It wasn't the easiest thing he had ever done but it was worth it. His boys made it worth his time. 

"Appa!" Felix giggled when Ju Won walked into the bedroom.

"Hello, Lixxie. Did you sleep well?" Ju Won picked up the four year old, setting him on his hip. 

"Yeah! I dreamed of candy and kangaroos" Felix nodded. Ju Won kissed his forehead.

"That's good love. Go on downstairs while I get your brothers. But don't touch anything" Ju Won set the boy down. 

"Okay!" Felix ran off, taking it slow as he went down the stairs. He didn't want to fall. 

"Seungmin, Jisung, can you wake up for me?" Ju Won gently pulled the boys' blankets away, rubbing their arms and backs to wake them up slowly. Jisung blinked sleepily and put his arms up, happy when Ju Won held him. Ju Won rubbed Seungmin's back again and the second youngest whined, curling up further under his blankets. Ju Won switched Jisung over to his other arm and got Seungmin up into his free arm, carrying both of them downstairs. Felix was sitting on the couch, waiting for Ju Won and his brothers. Ju Won set Seungmin and Jisung down on the couch next to Felix and went to get the others. 

"Min-Min" Ju Won walked into the oldest boys' room. Minho stirred a little but didn't wake up.

"Channie, Binnie" Ju Won added. Chan blinked a little and sat up, his hair sticking up everywhere. 

"Morning appa" Chan yawned and stretched as he got up. Ju Won ruffled his hair as the oldest passed him and went downstairs. 

"Minho, wake up. You have school" Ju Won gently shook the second oldest. 

"I don't feel good" Minho mumbled. Ju Won felt his forehead but it wasn't warm.

"Lee Minho" Ju Won made his tone sterner. Minho slowly, and dramatically, sat up and huffed, looking at Ju Won.

"Now your awake. Get up and get dressed. You have five minutes before I come up here again and you don't want me to do that" Ju Won warned. Minho huffed again. He knew that Ju Won was only stricter with him because otherwise, Minho would never get up, but sometimes he wished that his dad would be gentle like Ju Won was with the other boys. 

"I'm up. Happy now?" Minho climbed down from his bed and left the room. Ju Won shook his head, deciding not to say anything. Minho was grumpy in the morning and that was something that Ju Won had gotten used to. 

"Hey Binnie. You have school today, baby" Ju Won went back to being sweet. Changbin jumped up, almost hitting his head on the bottom of Minho's bed and ran off to get dressed. Ju Won wished that all the boys were that eager to get up in the morning. Now was the hardest part. If Minho was grumpy in the morning, then Hyunjin and Jeongin were little gremlins. They were ten times worse than their second brother. 

"Innie, Jinnie" Ju Won didn't even bother to wait for them to wake up. He picked the two boys up and carried them downstairs, taking them downstairs and putting them in their seats. Felix climbed into his, making sure that Seungmin got up first. Jisung was already waiting at the table and Chan was getting the cereal out plus bowls. 

"Minho, get the spoons and napkins" Ju Won told the boy. Minho rolled his eyes and went to get the spoons and napkins. Ju Won cauht him on the way back.

"Lose the attitude unless you want to be in trouble before school" He warned. Minho nodded, letting go of his annoyance at being woken up. 

"Good boy" Ju Won kissed his head and let Minho go. Minho gave each of his brothers a spoon and sat down again. Ju Won poured each of the boys their favorite cereal and added milk before sitting down also.
