confusing times... (part two)

beginning of 2016...

Taylor is going deeper in deeper in his frustation and also in his depression and most of it has to do with Jeremy leaving and the aftermath of him suing Taylor and hayley and all their time spent in meeting with their legal team, lawyers, label record and all that bullshit but also because hayley is deeper in hers and he doesn't know how to help her since she's taking a break from everything to focus on her and whatever is left of her relationship with the bold guy and has only spent time with Taylor when it comes to legal shit and they have barely seen each other since their last conversation; not alone at least and Taylor is not handling this very well which hayley has noticed but is ignoring to the fact she has made her decision to move forward with her nuptials to her fianceé and Taylor obviously isn't happy about this...

"hayles, i can't do this anymore and be mad at you for what your decision has taking us and what you're gonna do...it's your life and i have no business on getting in the way of your happiness if it means i might lose you as a friend due to him not liking us to spend time together and our friendship and if this means not be friends but more of co-workers, then be it as soon as i don't lose you entirely but i need to leave for a bit in order to clear my head and move forward with everything else and i can't be at your wedding. i wish i could be there supporting you and be next to you but i won't be there fully or giving my support completely because i don't support you marrying him. i wish you all the best and you will always count on me, i will never leave you hayley, please know that, i'm your friend first and will always be. i'll always be your biggest fan and supporter and be there for you for whatever you do moving forward...just need this break and get better myself in order to be the friend you deserve...

"are you sure you're doing the right thing t?" - justin, Taylor's older brother who is also a guitarist on tour with them and has been since Josh and zac left in 2010 and is also an older brother figure to hayley - "no really j, but i need to do this, i haven't been myself at all for months now and i don't really want to be around her when she's doing this and can't be at that wedding and pretend i'm not mad and keep a straight fase if i go and pretend to be the perfect friend in front of her and everyone else because i can't, i need to do this for me before it becomes too much and i don't want that and it's also because of her own good and mental health on top of my own and not go down that dark path yet again after last year"

"yeah you're right, and i'm here for you t, not matter what, your friendship with hayley has been through a lot since the beginning of time and especially these last couple of years and i've seen it all behind the lens and i want only the best for you both, you need this break and comeback stronger and not matter what happens with her marriage and all of that, i'm telling you your friendship is everything and it'll never die not matter how hard he will try, and she won't allow that and neither will you, but in order to keep that friendship healthy both of you you need this time apart, you will be fine Taylor, i really believe that and i believe in you and hayley's friendship"

Taylor is touched by his brother's words and agrees with him and so, he turns off his phone and goes to the airport and takes that plane to new zealand to meet with his old friend and former bandmate Zac Farro...

a couple of days later...

"t are you okay?" - zac asked his friend after seeing him distracted and deep in thought. he knows what has been happening after Taylor told him everything when he arrived and he wasn't expecting any of that information he dump on him, he knew pieces here and there but everything and not like this and especially not the state of the friendship between hayley and Taylor and how that's been at odds since Jeremy and everything they've been through and also because of her marriage with that guy and can understand how that has affected Taylor in so many ways
