Just a month left of life, Elena knew that she wouldn't be pardoned by Jaha, even if her parents were apart of the council, it's been years since they have pardoned a juvenile delinquent, besides, life support was falling on the ark, the oxygen would run out in a couple of months, so why waste in on the criminal kids.

A guard's voice snapped Elena out of her thoughts.
"Prisoner 278, Face the wall."

"No you can't do this yet, I don't turn eighteen for a month." She said, with worry written all over her face, not even thinking about getting pardoned, she was dying earlier than she should've.

"Quiet, hold out your right arm." The guard said in a monotonous voice.

Elena didn't fight back, she held out her arm, the guard put a wristband on it and then with a zap everything went dark.

"Elena." Elena woke up with her father's voice calling her.

"What's going on? Why are they floating me early."
Elena was confused.

"They're not floating you, they're sending all 100 of you to Earth, Me and your mother have tried to stop this, but it's no use, You have to remember everything I have taught you, understood?" Mattheo Gilbert explained, now Elena was pissed, If she didn't hate Jaha back then (Which she did) She definitely hated him now.

"Is it safe?" Elena asked in a quiet voice, almost like a whisper.

"I don't know." Her father answered honestly.

"Can I see mom? Please."

"Time is up." The guard said, as Elena gets shot with a needle and faints into his father's arms.

Elena was sitting next to Clarke when she woke up, she recognized the place as the exodus ship.
They were actually being sent to the ground.

"Elena, you're awake." Clarke smiled next to her, Elena and Clarke have been good friends since childhood, their parents knew each other quite well too, so they saw each other every day, before getting arrested for the same reason, Treason.

"This is so stupid, we're all gonna die, I had one good month in me."

The guy sitting next to Elena chuckled, she recognised him, The spacewalker himself, the guy who wasted a month of oxygen on an illegal spacewalk.

"Have a little faith, sweetheart." He said with a playful smile.

"The ground is not habitable for another 100 years, she has a point." Clarke agreed with her best friend.

"Prisoners of The Ark, hear me now. You've been given a second chance, and as your Chancellor, it is my hope that you see this as not just a chance for you, but a chance for all of us, indeed for mankind itself. We have no idea what is waiting for you down there. If the odds of survival were better, we would've sent others. Frankly, we're sending you because your crimes have made you expendable."
Elena rolled her eyes at Jaha's words.

"Your dad's a dick, Wells." A male delinquent yelled, wait Wells was here?

Elena looked around and saw Wells sitting next to Clarke, Jaha really went out of his way to arrest his own son, wow.
