Luna pov.

It was about 3am in the morning. It was all calm until, RING RING. My phone went off. Who would be calling 3am in the morning? I grabbed my phone from the bedside table and looked who was calling me at such an early time. It was Doha. An old friend of mine. It reminds me of someone... we don't talk about her. It was anyways her fault for leaving and tearing the group apart. I answered the call. "Hello?" I said tiredly. "LUNA COME HERE RIGHT NOW" Doha screamed on the other side. "Bro calm down, it's 5 in the morning, what so serious could happen?" "JUST COME HERE RIGHT NOW" "okay..." I said in uneasy voice. She never was like this before, except when she was with Lily.

I put on a coat, fixed my hair and grabbed the keys from the counter. Oh wait, I forgot, where in the world was this event happening? I took my phone out of my pocket and texted Doha.

I got out of my car, which was in front of an apartment. There were red and blue lights flashing all over the place. I now understood why Doha has screaming. In a distance, I see the girl who called me earlier. "Doha!" I called out, grabbing her attention.

Doha was wearing white gloves and a coat. She walked over to me with a serious look on her face. Too serious. "What happened here?" I asked quietly. "Well," she said, "you know who Alcove is, right?" I nodded in reply. "May had noticed Alcove hadn't come out till that smell." I covered my nose as if there was a metallic smell. "So, it's been a while she died?" "It's been estimated 2 days."

Alcove, dead. One of the brightest people in the group, and now she was dead. I was expecting things to go a bit lighter, but it just got heavier.

I glanced over at Alcove's body, lifeless like a ragdoll, with a firearm in her left hand. "It's not suicide, is it?" I said, kneeling down to the body. I also suspected some bruises on her neck. "That's what we thought until we remembered Alcove was right handed. It wouldn't make sense for a gun to be in her left hand. And look." Doha leaned down, her fingers tracing the floorboards. "There's dried blood and fresh scratches on the floor, she was dragged to the place, meaning-" "Someone made it look like suicide" "Correct." This was getting intense as I tried to hold back my tears. "Any signs of entry or struggle?" I asked "No, the murderer must have come in by invitation" said Hali coming out of the corner "Perhaps a family, friend, or anyone she'd let in." "Any suspects so far Hali?" Doha said.

"I was about to ask you that" I told Doha "I just came a few hours ago, Luna. Calm down."

"Not many, we've told everyone to evacuate before further notice." Hali said, breaking us two.

Alcove's body was in a black bag and was carried by some other people. Javy was shooing people behind the police tape line. Some people were trying to take pictures and videos, while others stood in their place, letting their eyes witness what they were seeing. People with children covered their eyes to hide their innocence. I'd be happy enough to ruin those kids' innocence.

People were always chaotic on nights like these. Though it wasn't Javy's job, we could all trust her, couldn't we? I eventually got pushed back into the crowd when someone grabbed me by the collar. I usually did that to Alcove. Turned out the person that was pulling me was Doha. "Where're we going?" I asked "you'll see." She dragged me into a dark alley with Hali. Hali was also dragging someone. It was someone I never thought I'd see, nor wanted to see. It was Raven.

"Why are we exactly here?" Raven said, clearly not in the mood of seeing each other. I wasn't happy to see her either.

Alcove, Raven, Rishak, Sarah and I were all friends once upon a time, until Raven and I had a big fight and stopped being friends. I had to admit, life was pretty fine without her, or was it? I couldn't exactly tell, but one thing I knew was there was a serious reason why both of us had been called.

"I know it's not pleasant seeing each other again, but listen" Hali said before we could start another argument. "What? I don't have time standing here." Hali was silent for a moment when she finally spoke up.

"As you two are the closest to Alcove, we suspect either one of you the murderer."
