"You shouldn't be doing that" Jeongin peeked into his and Hyunjin's room.

"I'm just painting" Hyunjin responded.

"Yeah. On the wall, dad's not going to like that" Jeongin warned. Hyunjin rolled his eyes and kept painting.

"Fine. Don't say I didn't tell you so" Jeongin walked into the room and sat down on his bed, pulling a book out. Hyunjin ignored him, more focused on the wall that he was painting a mural onto.

"Hey boys, we're going to the park for a little. Do you want to come too....?" Ju Won stopped, seeing what Hyunjin was doing.

"What are you....doing?" He questioned.

"The wall was plain so I decided to paint it. A wall makes a great canvas" Hyunjin answered.

"And you didn't think to ask me first?" Ju Won crossed his arms.

"Do you not like it?" Hyunjin stuck his lip out a little, pouting. Ju Won sighed, trying to keep his composure.

"It is very pretty but you should have told me before doing something like this" Ju Won scolded. Hyunjin seemed to realize there was a chance he might actually be in trouble and he put his brush down, wiping his hands on his apron.

"Told you so" Jeongin interrupted. Ju Won had completely forgotten the maknae was in the room.

"Shut up Innie" Hyunjin snapped. Ju Won smacked the side of his son's hip.

"Do not tell your brother to shut up. He's right, do you know how much this is going to cost to cover up?" Ju Won pointed out. Hyunjin looked at him in shocked silence.

"Cover up? So you don't like it?" Hyunjin guessed.

"Jinnie-" Ju Won tried to explain again, to fix this. Hyunjin cut him off.

"Fine then. I'm sorry for ruining your walls. Here, this should help" Hyunjin picked up his brush, dipping it in the paint and picking up a lot of paint, flinging it at Ju Won and spreading it all over his dad. He dropped his brush back in a can of paint and walked out, pushing past Ju Won.

"Hyunjin!" Ju Won followed him but Hyunjin kept walking away.

"Lee Hyunjin!" Ju Won repeated. Hyunjin ignored him and went downstairs. Jeongin slipped past, looking embarrassed as he went after his brother and roommate.

"Jin-hyung!" Jeongin called. Hyunjin finally stopped and turned back around.

"Your going to be in trouble" Jeongin reminded him. Hyunjin relaxed; he knew he shouldn't be angry at Jeongin.

"I know" Hyunjin agreed. Of course he was going to be in trouble. He flung paint at his dad!

"Are you still going to leave?" Jeongin wondered. Hyunjin thought about it but then decided that he couldn't.

"Of course not. Why don't you go watch TV with Minnie and Lixxie. And make sure to turn the volume up" Hyunjin patted his brother in the head and turned back to the stairs, going up slowly. He could hear Ju Won in the shower, probably trying to get the paint out of his hair, so Hyunjin sat down on his dad's bed to wait.

"You came back" Ju Won didn't look surprised that Hyunjin was there.

"I actually never left" Hyunjin corrected him. Ju Won nodded and took a seat beside his son.

"Your painting is very pretty. I didn't think of your feelings before deciding that it needs to be covered up" Ju Won admitted.

"Dad, come on. I know I should have asked you first before doing it" Hyunjin turned down Ju Won's half apology.

"That may be true but I still should not have spoken without thinking. You can keep the mural" Ju Won decided.

"Really?!" Hyunjin's whole mood took a turn and he was more excited now. Ju Won hated to ruin his son's good mood. Hyunjin saw his dad's expression and seemed to deflate.

"There's a but, isn't there? There's always a but, why is there always a but?!" Hyunjin huffed. Ju Won smiled a little at his son's flair for drama.

"But, like you said, you should have asked me first and you definitely should not have flung paint at me or walked away when I was talking to you" Ju Won's voice took on a sterner edge.

"I know. I'm really sorry" Hyunjin nodded, knowing what came next.

"Sorry doesn't fix anything" Ju Won stated, putting an arm around Hyunjin and using it to tip the kid over his knee.

"I'm not going to punish you for the mural because we both made a mistake on that but I am going to spank you for flinging paint at me and walking away when I was calling for you" Ju Won explained. Hyunjin didn't say anything but he didn't need to. Ju Won knew that he was feeling sorry.

"That is for the paint thing. For the ignoring me when I talk to you, you'll spend ten minutes in the corner" Ju Won helped Hyunjin up, standing the kid in front of him and wiping away his tears.

"Come on, let's go downstairs" Ju Won effortlessly picked Hyunjin up, smiling to himself when the kid wrapped his legs around Ju Won and laid his head down on his dad's shoulder.

"Don't go to sleep on me now, kid" Ju Won gently poked Hyunjin to keep him awake. He set the kid down in one of the corners, setting a timer for ten minutes.

"Are you guys ready to go to the park? We're leaving in ten minutes" Ju Won gathered the other boys.

"Yeah. The twins just need to get their shoes on" Chan nodded, trying to chase down Felix and Jisung.

"Felix, Jisung, get your shoes on unless you want to stay home" Ju Won told them. The twins finally stopped and put their shoes on. Ten minutes later, the whole family was on their way to the park.

"Does it hurt?" Jisung whispered to Hyunjin. It didn't take a genius to figure out that Hyunjin got in trouble.

"Shut up" Hyunjin gently shoved Jisung to the side.

"Dad! Hyunjin pushed me!" Jisung tattled without hesitation.

"I barely touched you!" Hyunjin argued. Ju Won turned back to them.

"Hyunjin, come here" He waited, putting his hand out. Hyunjin glared at Jisung and walked over to Ju Won.

"You need to stop pushing your brothers" Ju Won scolded. Hyunjin just nodded. He was tired from the day and he was in a bad mood. Ju Won knew this, which is why he kept Hyunjin close to him.

"I think maybe you need an earlier bedtime"  Ju Won decided, taking Hyunjin's hand.

"No!" Hyunjin complained. Ju Won squeezed his hand. All at once, Hyunjin burst into tears and stopped walking. Ju Won picked him up, letting Hyunjin cry in his arms. The boys played around for a little bit but Hyunjin stayed right next to Ju Won, at least until Jeongin came over and begged Hyunjin to come play with the rest of them. Ju Won watched his boys, fondly. Until he has to break up a fight between Hyunjin and Jisung.
