post surgery

Elena's POV

Today Gavi was having his ACL surgery I got up early and made sure to pack everything he needed for the next 2 1/2 hours, he'd be asleep the whole time and needed someone to drive him home.

Gavi was still asleep, as he should. I woke up at 7am and his surgery was at 9. I made sure to pack an extra shirt and pants, snacks, and bathroom essentials.

After packing I made breakfast, after that I went upstaris and went to check if Gavi was awake. I laid beside him and I could hear him softly breathing.

"Gavi...wake up." I whisper, he hums as he turned towards me and put his arm around my waist and placed his head in my shoulder.

"You have to shower, you have you surgery today." I softly speak

"But your so warm, I don't want to leave." He groans

"I know, I know but you have too." I rub his back

I finally convinced him to go shower, I turned on the hot water for the tub and made sure to put bubbles, I laid out the towels and comfortable clothes he was gonna wear.

I helped him up the bed and helped him into the tub, he groaned a bit and then settled down.

I grabbed a washcloth and wet it and poured soap on it, I sat on the edge of the bathtub and I rubbed the washcloth on his chiseled chest and his perfect abs.

"I can do it myself." He softly says

"Just...let me do it." I whisper as I rub the cloth on his back

I made sure the water was still hot. He laid his head on my chest as I continued to rub the washcloth on his back, we enjoyed the slience and just enjoyed our presence.

I felt so bad for Gavi, he was in so much pain and he had to temporarily quit his career.

I drove to the doctor and made sure Gavi was all settled before I left, I came back home and I was really bored, hoping the time would go faster.

I knew Gavi would be tried and hungry, I made sure to make his all time favorite soup. The soup and blended vegetables in it and I decided to put chicken on the side.

Not to long after the 2 hours was up and I got in my car and drove over to the hospital as fast as I could.

I ran into the hospital and sat in the lobby, not to long after Gavi came out in a wheelchair, I stood up immediately and sighed. I walked fast and leaned down and kissed him.

"How was it?" I asked "How are you feeling?" I added on

"I'm very tired." He weakly said, I made a deep breathe and stood up and thanked the nurse for helping him.

I helped him into the car and folded his wheelchair then placed it into the back, I sat in the car and started it.

"I made soup if your hungry." I smiled

"I'm extremely hungry, my love." She smiled

"Well that's good, I made sure to prep everything before you came." I said

"I love you so much." He held my hand the entire car ride home.

Gavi's POV

I got into Elena's house with the help of her and the smell of my favorite soup made by my beautiful girlfriend.

"Thank you for all the help." I kissed her cheek, she smiled in return and laid me on the couch. She made a tower of 3 pillows made for my leg to be elevated.

She heated up the soup and gave it to me, on the side it had chicken and she gave me water.

"This smells absolutely amazing, my love." I threw a cheeky smile at her.

"I'm glad you like it." She kissed my cheek and we started a movie, obviously she picked and she picked "10 Things I Hate About You" She loved old romantic movies, and I loved her.

I finished the soup she made me and I looked at Elena the entire time, what did I do to deserve her? She is such an angel, she made me a better person and I own her my life.

The movie finished and she put all the dishes into the sink. After she helped me up the stairs and made the bed for me.

"My love, you really don't have to." I smiled

"No, I insist." She contiunes fluffing up the bed, she patted the bed and I chuckled and sat down.

She put a pillow under my leg and put the bed covers on top and kissed my forehead.

"Good night my love." She smiled

"I love you so much." I looked up at her
