seven (soyeon)

After i knocked on the bathroom door i heard a muffled noise that sounded like it came from a phone call, i didnt think much of it and went back down to continue talking to shuhua, she was actually pretty fun to be around.

A couple of minutes later yuqi came out of the bathroom looking scared and pale, for some reason, and then came down and sat down with us to eat the pancakes she made, she looked really tense while simply using a fork to eat some pancakes.

"Hey yuqi," i said softly to grab her attention.

"Hm?" she replied in a pretty shaky voice.

"Are you okay?" i asked her.

"Yep! totally fine!" she replied weirdly. 

"Okay then."

she then excused herself again and went up to her room because she had a "headache" and needed to rest.

"Yuqi is acting  kinda weird...." i said to shuhua after she went up to her room.

"well..." shuhua said

"what?" i replied wanting to know what shuhua wanted to say

"when yuqi's acting like this, " she said while taking a bite of her food "she definitely hiding something." 

i stayed silent and thought about it, the phone call she had yesterday with who seemed to be miyeon, and today hearing a voice yelling her name through a phone call while she was in the bathroom.

"maybe she is..." i replied back to shuhua 

"well I'm gonna go now, i have somewhere i need to be." shuhua said while getting up

"where do you have to be at 12 in the morning?" i asked her chuckling

"i have some stuff okay!" she said while smiling "byee soyeon!" she said softly while opening the door

"bye!" i replied back as she closed the door behind her

i thought about what shuhua said again and decided to talk to yuqi about it.

i went up the stairs and softly knocked on the door to not shock her since she was very obviously tensed not too long ago...

"yuqi..." i tried to softly say while knocking

no answer

"yuqi!" i said a little loudly so she could (maybe) hear me

"Come in..." i heard her say quietly as if disappointed in herself

i opened the door slightly and peaked through the door to see if the condition she was in was suitable to talk to her about this, when i looked at her, i saw that she was curled up in a ball on her bed, holding her knees with one hand and holding her phone with the other hand, scrolling through what looked like to be Instagram.

well.... she looked like she was in average condition......

 I opened the door completely and walked in while slowly and slightly pushing the door behind me, walking slowly and sitting one the edge of her bed and looking at her.

"sooo..." i said to start some type of conversation

"what?" she replied breaking her very constant eye contact to her phone and looked at me 

"who were you talking to yesterday outside my studio?" i said very straightforward

"uhm...." yuqi said slowly and looked at me again "i was talking to Minnie."

" why talking about miyeon then?" i said questioning her

"what are you trying to prove?" yuqi asked in the same way 

"that you have been trying to make sure of something about me that i told you to forget about, and that I've made it very clear that I don't want to get deep into it."  i replied very seriously since yuqi didn't look like she was taking it as a real issue.

"okay soyeon wow, calm down." she said 

"no i want calm down, and you're not taking this as seriously as it should be taken!" i got up and stormed out of the room, because it just frustrated me how insensitive she was while i was talking to her about something that has fucked up my mental health so horribly.

"hey! why are you mad now!?" i heard her yell as i walked out the room.

i heard her get up from her bed to follow me and try to talk to me, but i just tried to walk to my room faster because i seriously didn't want to face her right now.

"soyeon please!" she said right after i proceeded to slam the door of my room.

 i had slept a bit after having that fight with yuqi because i really don't want to be reminded of the days where i used to be in that relationship, i just cant bear to have thoughts of the days i used to cry myself to sleep every night.

but yuqi is just nosey and curious like that.... that's  just her.... that's how she is.

I've been trying to find excuses for what she did, but i really dont know why im even trying.

while i was in my thoughts, the door knocked softly in a repeating and synced manner 3 times, and followed by a soft "Soyeon~"  

"come in..." i said in the same soft voice, but loud enough to be heard.  

the door opened slowly, while making a small creaking sound and i saw yuqi peak through the door, silently asking me if i was okay.

she opened the door completely and walked in slowly and sat down on the side of my bed and exhaled loudly.

"look soyeon...."  she said while looking down "im sorry," and then pulled her head up to look me in the eye "about trying to go deeper about your own personal business."

"it's fine" i replied while looking down

"it's not, i hurt you, i cant live with this , i cant see you hurt like this." she said looking down again 

"its fine yuqi, i really forgive you, i was just mad" i said to her, genuinely.

"so you forgive me?" she asked me confused

"yes, i just said so." i replied to her while having one eyebrow raised.

"well then," she said and then laid back onto my thigh and looked at me while smiling.

"what are you doing?" i said while chuckling and she looked at me, looking like she wanted to ask something.

"hey.... soyeon," she said slowly while looking at me "what are we?"

"excuse me what the hell are you asking song yuqi?" i said while looking at her seriously

"i dont know, we had a one-night stand, you asked me to live with you, and yeah so?" she asked waiting for an answer to her question.

i looked her in the eye, she looked back at me and I leaned down a little to get closer to her face and she raised her head a little and pulled me into a long kiss, raising my chin and turning my head slightly to deepen the kiss.

i pulled away slowly and looked at her, still laying down on my thigh, looking surprised as what she did.

"so what do you think we are now?" i asked her while smirking 

"i love you, soyeon," she said, continuing to lay down comfortably on my thigh.

"i love you too, yuqi."
