ch5: Pudding

Bible woke up early the next morning, he was surprisingly in a good mood, he went to the kitchen and made himself some breakfast, he was excited and spent the entire morning searching for places for dates, he wanted it to be perfect, be wanted biu to have a good time.

He put on a casual outfit, a green shirt, and some beige trousers, and then put his hair up in a man bun, he decided to take his car instead since his bike was getting repaired, 'should I get him a present?' He thought, he felt like biu does owe him a present after everything he's done with him, and so he did.

He arrived at biu's neighbourhood, parked his car and headed to the bakery, but it was closed, he knocked on the door but no one opened, so he thought that maybe he was waiting for him at home, so he took his phone and decided to call him, for some reason he felt that something was off,

Bible was starting to get anxious

Biu said, almost whispering

He said with a guilty tone.

𝐁𝐢𝐮🥐: 𝒐𝒌𝒂𝒚.

Moments later Bible was standing in front of his house, the door opened and biu was standing there with flushed cheeks and a sweaty forehead, he was wrapped in a blanket and barely standing straight,
Bible half walked half ran to him,

"hey buddy, how are you feeling?" He said as he put his hand gently on biu's forehead 𝒉𝒆'𝒔 𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈! , "I'm dizzy, and cold *coughs* and my throat is sore" Biu said barely forming words, Bible closed the door and wrapped one arm around Biu to support him "Let's get you to bed okay", he walked Biu to his bed and tucked him in,

Biu was looking at him with teary eyes and he said "I'm sorry"
Bible looked at him in confusion "why???" "We were supposed to go on a date but, I ruined it" Biu said with a tone filled with guilt and sadness, Bible bent down meeting biu's face,

he put his hand on the boy's burned cheek and started caressing it softly "Listen to me muffin, I wanted to go on a date with you more than anything, but right now your health is what matters more, we still have all the time in the world, we can go on many dates, I'm not going anywhere okay?" Bible's voice was so tender and comforting that for a moment biu thought that he was having a fever dream, how is this man real?? Biu nodded softly at him,

Bible smiled and stood up turning around but biu held his hand quickly "Where are you going??" He said with a pout, Bible took that hand to his "I'm just going to the kitchen Biu, I will make you some porridge so you can take your medicine okay?",
"Okay," Biu felt at ease again, for some reason he was scared of being left alone,

Bible was now in the kitchen, he was busy making the porridge but his mind was on high alert and constantly peeking at Biu's room, it's not the first time for him to take care of a sick person, but to be this worried about someone, that's a first for him, he put the porridge on a tray along with water and cold medicine.

He got back to the room and put the tray on the nightstand, he helped Biu to sit, took the spoon and began feeding him, After he finished he handed him the medicine and Biu took it, "good boy" Bible said startling biu who felt his cheeks heating up again, it didn't escape Bible's attention, but he just smirked and said nothing, he stood up but biu stopped him again,

"I want chocolate pudding" he said with only half of his face sticking out of the blanket, "my grandma used to make it for me when I get sick, there's some in the fridge, can you get it for me?", Bible smiled at the cute boy, "of course, why don't you change your clothes at the meantime, you were sweating so it must be uncomfortable to stay in those, I'll go get your pudding" Bible said as he got some clean pyjamas for biu and gave them to him, "yes you're right it does feel uncomfortable, thank you", and with that bible went to the kitchen again and got the chocolate pudding for biu.

"I got your pud-", biu was still changing his clothes when Bible walked in, he couldn't stop himself from staring at the boy's soft tummy, he had a sudden urge to squish it, 𝒘𝒕𝒇 𝒃𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑 𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒊𝒄𝒌, "ehm, umm d-do you need help?" He said trying to sound as normal as possible, "No that's okay I'm already done", biu finished changing and tucked himself back in bed, he took the pudding and started eating it happily, Bible sat on the floor staring at him, then he decided to break the silence

"Where's pao pao? I haven't seen her" he asked, "oh someone came and took her this morning because I couldn't take care of her, they will bring her back tomorrow " Biu explained with a mouth half-full of pudding, "ohhh I see" Bible nodded in understanding and biu was now done with his pudding, it was silent again for a moment and then, "ble"
"Mm?", "Thank you for taking care of me today, I don't like being alone when I'm sick, usually my grandma takes care of me but she's in our hometown these days, sorry if I caused you any tro-", "Don't finish that sentence biu, you also took care of me when I was alone and broken, so if it makes you feel any better, consider it me returning the favour, but really I did it because I genuinely care about you and want you to get better," Bible said while playing gently with biu's hair,

And then suddenly he remembered something, "can you wait for me a lil bit I'm gonna bring something from my car and come back," he said, biu nodded at him in confusion, then he rushed outside and came back holding a gift bag in his hand, biu tilted his head,

"I was planning to give it to you on our date but I think you need it more now, he opened the bag and took out a black cat plushy from it, "I thought you might need it now since Pao is not here to cuddle you", biu's face lit up and he was smiling from ear to ear, "omg ble, it's so cute thank you!!!", "you're welcome," Bible said as he sat next to biu,

"now go to sleep, it's getting late and you need some rest", "Will you stay here and wait for me to sleep?" Biu asked shyly, Bible nodded "I told you, I'm not going anywhere ",

He covered Biu with the blankets and tucked the plushy next to him, and he went to turn off the lights, "can you keep the nightstand light on? I'm scared of the dark" Biu said, "Of course" Bible turned it on and then he sat on the edge of the bed, biu closed his eyes and Bible leaned slowly towards him and put a soft kiss on his forehead, "Good night muffin", and he kept caressing his hair until he drifted to sleep.

Biu woke up sometime after midnight and felt a weight on his shoulder, it was Bible, he was sleeping next to him now with his head buried in Biu's neck, he smiled softly and then covered him with the blanket, he planted a kiss on his head, then drifted back to the dreamland, even tho he already has everything he could dream of.
