Chapter two

The boat ride back to Caelum was rather long; it took five long days to get from Dymon to Caelum. From there Reina's things were placed within a vehicle she had never seen before. She was skeptical of getting close to it but Noctis smiled at her and pulled her closer to the car. "C'mon Reina, it's not going to hurt you I promise."

"B-But what is that?"

"Oh...right, in Dymon there's nothing like this is there?"

She shook her head no. "Only horses and carriages."

"Right then, this is called a car. It needs gas to move and it goes a lot faster than a horse and carriage."

"J...Just how much faster?" Reina asked concerned

"Hop in and you'll see. But don't worry father doesn't go too fast when he knows that I'm in the car with him." Noctis said with a smile

She skeptically went into the car before he went in after her, afterwards she saw that he placed on a seatbelt which she saw she had one too and pulled at it before looking at it. "What's this?"

"It's a seatbelt, it's to help keep us safe so we don't end up getting too hurt if we get into an accident."

"How does it work?"

Noctis leaned over and showed her how it worked which amazed her before she thanked him. He smiled and nodded his head as his father went into the car, seeing that both of them were buckled in he buckled himself in before he drove them off into the kingdom. Reina was very amazed with how different Caelum was to Dymon. Reina didn't ask too many questions since she didn't want to seem stupid to the prince or to the king.

When they got to the castle Noctis helped her undo her seatbelt before he got out and helped Reina out. As he went into the castle with her a blond female with blue eyes went up to Noctis and hugged him. "Noctis you're back! How was that horrible demon kingdom? Did they hurt you at all?"

"Excuse me miss, who are you-why are you hugging my friend and why are you talking so horrible about a race you know absolutely nothing about?" Reina asked seriously as she had her arms crossed

"Oh...Noctis, I didn't know you brought one of those things back with you."

"Luna, stop it! Princess Reina isn't a 'thing'. She's the demon princess of the kingdom of Dymon and she also happens to be my friend. I wasn't hurt at all the entire time I was there and the kingdom itself wasn't all that bad either. Now I have a job to do-you can see yourself out." Noctis said unamused before he held onto Reina's hand and took her around the castle

Reina was happy that Noctis had stood up for her, as he showed her around she stayed very close to him and listened to everything he said to her-she also met up with his advisor-Ignus, and his sword instructor Gladiolus; who wanted to see if she knew how to use a sword. Which she mentioned she could. He wanted to test her to see how well she was for a ten year old girl. Noctis was curious too, so Gladiolus and Reina sparred together only for Reina to use her small body to her advantage and get him to the ground within a few minutes flat.

She smiled at the elder male and giggled. "How's that for a ten year old demon girl?" She said happily

"I'd say you'd be better off protecting Noct instead of him protecting you." Gladiolus said as he got up

"Hey! I can take care of myself, thank you very much!"

"Yeah sure, you still can't even swing your sword right let alone get the footing down properly."
