Chapter Four

It wasn't long before Reina saw Luna leave the throne room in tears as she stomped up the stairs. Reina kept hidden as she heard Regis talking with Noctis.

"Now that Luna will be leaving, I want you to keep close to Reina and keep up on your studies. Do you hear me? The peace treaty between the humans and demons must go according to plan or we'll lose everything. You heard what Reina had said about her father King Belphegor and his brothers. I don't believe either one of us wishes for our entire kingdom to go down into rubble so quickly due to lack of care for Reina."

"No sir, I will be sure that the peace treaty happens. I just have one question for you father...why did you ask Reina about what she thought about me in front of myself and Luna? Surely you knew that something was going to happen when Reina would speak up. Especially knowing just how soft spoken Reina is."

"I've heard a rumor years ago from an unknown source about the fact that demons cannot lie about their feelings for someone when asked, I wanted to see if it was true. And it seems to be, had she lied she would have seized up in front of all three of us."

"I see...do you think that it will be possible for me to get her to like me?"

"As long as you keep her image of you as the one she has now, I believe it may be possible, she seems to be taking a rather fond liking to you-but seems to be held back due to the spoiled princess that was already here. I do believe we'll be able to see more of the real her once it is known to her that Luna is gone for good."

Reina heard enough and went to her room to go read. It wasn't long after she had gotten sucked into her book she heard a knock on the door, she looked up to see that it was Luna who looked very upset and perplexed. "Yes, may I help you?"

"I...I wish to apologize to you before I go. I...I guess I was a bit high strong and that was the wrong way to treat you. Please forgive me."Luna said nervously and sadly

"My first impression of you wasn't good so this only proves that you cannot handle other people outside of your small circle. As a princess you need to keep in mind there are other kingdoms out there and as such you need to be open minded and open hearted about everything. Judging people based on what they are instead of who they are is going to get you and your people killed in the long run. I can forgive and forget-but the rest of my kin aren't like that at all. So you are lucky you ran into me instead of one of them that would have ripped you to shreds the moment you would have called one of them ugly." Reina stated seriously

Luna nodded her head as she looked down ashamed, knowing that she was wrong to have acted how she had but also knowing that her time around them had come to an end.. "I...I happen to have had a run in with a blond elder male-he..he said he was your uncle. He was told to check up on you till your mother has arrived here. He is currently talking with King Regis downstairs if you wish to speak with your uncle."

Reina scoffed and shook her head. "Hard pass, my uncles have had no interest in me since my birth. So I have no interest in them. Is that all?" She asked curiously

"Yes, farewell Princess Reina, may you live a good life." Luna said before she left out without another word

Reina went back to her book until she felt someone sit on the side of her bed. She looked up unamused to see her blond headed uncle-Satan. "What are you doing here?" She said unamused "Why aren't you dolting on Renzo like you assholes seem to like to do so damn much."

Satan looked at her sadly. "Belphie did mention to us that we would get the cold shoulder from you but I didn't think it'd be this bad."

"Answer my question uncle or are you just that damn ignorant that you're just going to ignore my question like you do me for the last ten damn years?" Reina asked unamused
